How many cars do you have in your GT7 garage ?

I searched and I am surprised there is not yet a thread for this. For previous GT games, there is always one.

Here goes for me:

835 currently, I am aiming to collect all cars in the game, before I reach the 1000 (is that the garage size limit ?) so i only have 165 available slots left.

As it stand, I am missing 158 cars to complete the 556 total GT7 roster of cars.

Certainly I will have to throw away cars as I am bound to receive gifts and bonus duplicate cars...

Are you as much a hoarder of cars as I ?

By extension, you could also explain your collection style and purpose...

For me, I buy cars, I never sell them, once I decide to buy something, I will keep it forever. I very rarely sell any of my cars...

Those 835 I currently have are the ones I got, bought, and received since the beginning...

Interesting way you play. For me when I collect cars, I just buy one copy at a time, and I invest a lot of money into Tuning Shop parts. Then I go test car in time trial (lately on Yas Marina as my go to). Only if the car impressed me do I think about buying a second, but when I buy second time I wait for different factory color and km, then only do I buy multiple copies of the same car.


I keep only the cars I like, except for the ambulance. Joke is old. But anyway... only 136 cars in the garage currently. Lots of badboy muscle cars, couple euro classics, bunch of Ferraris mostly.

If PD keep records of what we bought over the game's life, it'd show the Sprinter Trueno and Levin as my most bought cars and normal E30. About to do another buying spree to run Group A replicas, classic Nissans and N2 AE86s at the two new circuits.

Are they liveries? Have you shared any of them to showcase? I love classic Zs!

Also, why does the stupid snowman make noise? I had my speakers loud listening to AC/DC and then suddenly I heard the noise.

You raise a good point: how do each one collect cars in GT7 ...

I thought most people are like me trying to "catch them all"

Personally
I have never sold one of my cars here in GT7
My garage truly represents the history of me playing GT7.

My garage has exactly everything single car I have in the order I received, bought, or got them...

And it shows what I esthetically look or like about cars...

I will probably do a pivot table of the cars I have, it would be interesting, to paint the picture of my garage.

I believe the C4 Corvette is the one I have the most duplicate of....

More to come.

I am curious to see how each of your garage look like....
What are your preferences?

I'm checking from my phone and only see three pages from my Showcase. I'm sure there are more Styles than that!
 
I tend to keep my garage pretty tidy, just keeping a few favorites around, plus a couple cars specifically for certain events that seem to pop up in the weeklies fairly often... basically one car for each Gr. class.

However, I've been having a hard time parting with the 0-mile gift cars from My First Gran Turismo, even though the mileage really doesn't matter.

I guess I've got about 30-40 cars, not turning the game on to check.

So if I understand correctly, you don't have to keep cars in your garage in order to claim the "car collection progress" percentage, as long as you have at one point or another, has received, and bought the car at least once....

I have multitude of multiple cars

Out to the 835 cars I have right now, 674 were bought by yours truly.

Only problem with that are some cars Zi had to buy again with the special extra menus. For dome reason do not acknowledge I owned the cars at one time. However, some extra menus automatically acknowledge cars I've owned.
