1987 Buick GNX...

Doesn't get much better than drifting around Special Stage Route 5 in the first car to really put the typical american V8 on notice (not that I don't love a good ol' V8).

👍

For me its the Minolta. I know this thread is about the cars that dont get much love but I'm not excited about driving cars in a video game I can buy in real life. The point of the game for me is to drive things I will never get a chance to drive.

It isn't really to drive, but I like the Dihatsu Sirion X4...

It's s piece of crap, has no performance and is just useless. But it was the first car I EVER bought on Gran Turismo. Back in GT3 A-Spec, which was the first GT I personally owned, as I never had a PS1. I remember going into the dealership and seeing it and being all "this looks good enough".

Challenger SRT8

i would never buy that car, and if i won as a prize in real life i'd sell it the next day and buy anything else, even a hyundai genesis coupe.

however it does look kinda cool :(

One of mine is the Isuzu 117. It's not the fastest of the classic cars but I found that after I tuned it slightly to around 140hp it was fast enough. It's a well-balanced car that's easy and fun to drive! :)

Also, my MX-5 that I bought straight after installing the game - I've tuned it up and now I can't bear to part with it.

Not raced in many cars but I fell inlove with the Ferarri 512BB `76 after the last test C license. Must admit I wasnt loving it until I finally got gold on it :nervous:

Its the only car I like watching back on the replays, and when the back steps out

Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II Touring Car '92 I love that thing ,but I have yet to spot it in the Used Cars Dealership:irked:

Again, don't think many people would feel "guilty" about admitting to enjoyment of the LFA or McLaren. :)

I don't know. To me, you have this thread completely the wrong way about. Supercars like the Stealth F1 are the ones I feel slightly cheap about enjoying so much - they're obvious, they tend to be too easy and (other than the F1) they're really not very interesting to me.

The cars I love in this game - the ones I think you were angling for anyway - like the Autobianchi A112, the Alpine A310 (and A110 when I finally track it down), the Hommell Berlinette, the '74 and '83 Lancers, the '87 Skyline, the '70 Celica and the Isuzu Bellett (another I have yet to track down) are things I'll never feel even slightly guilty about :) Perhaps we could settle on the 190E EvoII and the Nismo 270R as a compromise?

Point taken. That's definitely a different way of approaching it. Again, no, not what I was going for. But to each his/her own. :)

LEXUS LFA fully upgraded to 700bhp, just the sound of this engine going to 10.000 rpm.

I don't think there's a better sounding car in this game...

QFT. Agreed. DO NOT mod the exhaust. Give up 15 hp or so for the stock sound. Your ears will thank you.

Agreed big time, the MB 190E Evo II was the 1st used car I bought in the game. I also have a soft spot for the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo. I just love the way that car looks.

I love the MB as well.. not the touring car just the street car. I sometimes just take it for Joyrides around the Ring because it just feels like it belongs there.

About to hit Level 15 so I can finally buy the ZR1, but I'd hardly hold any guilt in deriving pleasure from any 'Vette. :)

'76 notchback (C3) in Daytona yellow is my favorite car of all time.

I'm at level 12. No ZR1 yet. Looking into an LFA to tide me over.

A true guilty pleasure. Well I couldn't say "no" to the EVO VI Tommi Makinen edition and the Fiat 500 Lounge esse esse '08, which actually turned out to be a very versatile car once fully modded (4 different races from Beginner to Amatuer it's eligible for and can win handily).

Lupo GTI Cup Car (J) '03. I just love throwing it around the Nordschleife.

M Coupe '98- So strange looking, so much fun to drive. I got it with my Level 5 coupon and won the European Hot Hatch Challenge on my first try with no mods.

1300 Coupe 9 S '70- Highly modded, but it won the Japanese 70's Challenge and is a fun little car.

Lancia Stratos '73- I got this with my Rally Car coupon, in Blue. Won the 70's European Challenge and the MR Challenge. Super tight, fun ride.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser can officially be re-added to the "list". Saw a black one in the used car lot and I just had to show my wife that I could beat her Lexus IS200 with a PT. :)

Why is that a guilty pleasure?

I haven't done this from reading something in a long while, but that made me literally Laugh Out Loud! :)

lol i actually did this yesterday night, other players began riding along side me attempting to make me go faster. They ended up just pushing me around like a soccerball. One incline took forever to get over, the car was traveling at 15 mph
