Actually, you raise a good point.

Profiling studies tend to show that the average internet user is male, 18-25 and with a mathematical, technological or scientific bent. Then throw in the fact that this is a forum based on a series of computer games... This kind of person would score better - on average - on a typical IQ test. Ah, the joys of "ascertainment bias"...

Hmm, tests I've done in the past have given me 140's, but Emode gave me 118. Must have something to do with the fact that I guess the majority of Emode's questions.

I got 140 on eMode, but I don't think that test goes any higher. I'm pretty damn sure that I didn't miss any questions.

I'm a word warrior. And its true. I suck at math but rule at anything in the English language. I'm nationally recognized for it and got offered to a lot of private schools for it.

I usually do pretty well on the online IQ tests, if you think they actually mean anything. I know a lot of people who do well on IQ tests, and from what I've seen it's possible to do well on an IQ test while still being very stupid. Or maybe they were just lying.
