Firstly, I'm honestly never talk about life things on GTP. Mostly about hobbies and such. But times changed as i dont really talk about games anymore.

For start, I'm starting to consider some part time jobs for my own jobs experience for my resume. I do try some jobs albeit not exactly a committed one. More recently is a month of work as an office intern weeks ago. Previously maintain the stand at some Automotive Expo and making some short movies for the competition (and failed). It isnt paid that much as im not exactly a real employee there. But going to take a part time much soon for my monetary needs.

What about yours? Also how does your life affected (much happier for independence or not)? I wanted to hear your experience since I may take some of the stories to make up my mind to choose.

I've done a whole host of different jobs from amazing to downright awful.

Worst was definitely sales. Best was probably being a sponsored motorcycle adventurer. My main career is in education but I'm currently public enemy number 1 in regards to the temporary job I have now.

Do many things, improve your skill set.

And hopefully with that in mind you find your calling, although I will say at least for me, work is work and life is life. I keep the two separate as much as possible. Don't sell yourself short and keep on going.

I've been everything from a grocery store courtesy clerk to a store manager for Gamestop, a dealership lot attendant to a technician for Flyin' Miata, website maintenance for Vivid Racing and now NVH technician for Nissan. I bounced around a lot between a couple states the whole time, and I think I've finally found a place where I am comfortable for a while. Though sometime down the road I may end up driving semi trucks as I have always wanted to do that.

Around 2 Years ago, I got a Part-time job at Hungry Jack's but had to quit 1 Year later because Schoo Work was getting to tough and it was stressing me out doing both.

I plan on getting another job after school but that's what I'm worried about because I'm definitely not the most competent person in the world. I'll always showed up, not skipping a single day and try my hardest but I feel like my hardest wasn't good enough, at my old job I was pretty slow and messed up whenever I was pressured to speed up. I was mostly on clean up duties because of it, which didn't bother me as I liked its more slower pace.

I'm worried if I can fit into any other jobs after school is done with, worried if I can actually be competent this time in anything else.

I start by doing some banking, did my apprenticeship there and end up working at UBS for 3 years but never really felt like it was my place. Then one of my friend who had a manga store hired me, I had a blast for another 3 years but then the shop got hit by financial problem because my boss wasnt managing it good enough. As I was the personnal member with the most experience and the best CV I got fired with my agreement.

My next works was for the state, I was collecting taxes at a counter for 2 and a half year. Then my contract end, they couldnt keep me.

And then I found the job I'm doing now, it's a job like no other where I do administrative letter and other stuff, accounting for the firm and I'm driving disable kids from home to school or other place they have to go. It's really an awesome job where I can use all of my skills and also doing some "good" work.

I got 2 bosses, one is my best friends and the other is his brother so it's a pretty nice situation. I'm not earning that much money but got loads of holiday and a free car to use. Can't complain. I'm very happy with my work atm and hope I can stay there as long as possible.

First job was at Toyota, as an instructor. I can safely say it did not add any significant to myself other than some pesos to my wallet.

2nd job was as a Warranty administrator at AMECO. Very easy job. Just had to do all the installation reports of all the machines we sold and manage a couple of warranty claims per month, about 20 or so.

3rd job has been the most demanding so far. I work as an Account Executive for Momatt (Mexican Official Distribuitor of Crown Forklifts). I give after sales support for several customers on various locations around the country.

I took me a while to get a decent job, and I can't complain, I'm doing fine. However, debts are getting bigger and bigger, so I might get a bank loan this week so I can survive with some ease the rest of the year. We'll see what happens. :)
