So, I entered a lobby on Sarthe 2009 (with chicanes). The PP limit was 705 and all aids were disabled except ABS. The race was a 2 lapper. I chose my Sauber C9, detuned it to meet the regulations and fitted Racing Softs on it. The first lap went very well. However, I did not know that the Sauber is a tire eater and the tire wear was set to "Very Fast". By the Mulsanne corner on the second lap, my tires were fried. Coming out of the last of the Porsche Curves with a whopping 23 second lead over the 2nd place Audi R10 and completely dead tires, I barely tapped the throttle at 180 km/h and got sent into the wall. Right after I recovered, as I was going through the second-to-last chicane, I lost it again. The car got sideways and hit the wall head on. I reversed and slowly drove to the last chicane. The blue arrows on the map were getting closer and closer. My heart was racing. I crawled over the line at 60 km/h and won with a one second lead!

What are your most dramatic finishes?

My most dramatic finish was on SSRX.
Race was 2 laps,I think there were 4 of us all in Red bull X's '11.
We were all battling for the lead, slipstreming etc,and on the last lap it was between me and a friend of mine.
Coming towards the line I was in front but my opponent was right on my tail and he slipstreamed past me and beat me by 7 thousanths of a second! The result came up and placed me first and thought I'd won but quickly changed to second.I think I still have the replyay,I'll upload it if I can.

I was an a pretty tight battle between a v12 lmr (me) and Bentley speed 8 at Daytona road course. After two tense laps I finished .15 behind.

I've had a few .0000! Great video r1600!

Also Daytona road course I've crossed the stripe clearly second, but got the win. I've crossed first and got a loss.. I think that track is a bit strange with its start/finish line.

Also slightly off topic but sometimes I see discrepancies when taking pics of close races at the line.. When I get the shot ready, it looks good. When I snap the pic, my cars moved a bit... Sometimes over the finish line when it was slightly behind it. "What's up with that"!

Ultra clean 4 / 5 car continuous 8 lap battle at Suzuka

Performance between the cars was so close, none of us knew who was going to win.

Got loads of races like this, multi car shoot outs throughout race, going down to last corner..

Indy with FGT's. 11 lap race. Last lap, coming off turn 4 onto the front straight, nearing the entrance to pit lane there was contact. I was in the lead, but got squirrley. I wound up pit checking not 1, or 2, but all 3 of my opponents. I saw them all head into the pits
as I sailed on to the win. It was completely inadvertant of me to do that and I, after I finished laughing my 🤬 off, did appologize for the maneuver. It was of course saved to my vids.

1 lap race on the Nordschleife with karts... at night... in the wet... with about 10 people. After 20 minutes of carnage and lauging our arses off I ended up in a drag race with SebaEspinosa off the final corner, and got the win by .008. Epic

My most dramatic finish happened two weeks ago in a race in Suzuka for a Gt500 championship.
It was a 30 lap (1 hour race) and I was chasing and exchanging positions with the guy in a Castrol Supra.

After we both did our last pitstop we were at same pace, and I was overtaking him before the last chicane but he was regaining the position in turn one. After lap 24 I decided to save tires and just chase to do a final overtaking in the last lap so he would have no chance to cross the line in first.

In the last lap I had to bet all my coins in one risky overtake before the chicane. Some may say that it wasn't a fair move but the Supra driver did not complain after the race.

See for yourselves:
Laps 24 to 28

Laps 29 to finish

Stock SLS AMG Mercs around Tokyo R246 Reverse. After 19 laps and 2 pitstops, having a 3 way duel for the entire race, I'm following the leader closely, try an overtake into the last corner, run as close to the wall as I dare and drag raced the leader down the straight to finish only 0.067 of a second behind. Was one of the best races I've ever had on GT5.

Madrid reverse.
4 laps of heavy and clean racing.
Last lap and I was second, and the first one just opened some distance.
So, I just relaxed. "Second place, not bad".
Then, out of NOWHERE, just before the last hairpin, I look at the mirror and the third place comes at huge speed!
"That's not gonna end well", and I hoped he don't hit me.
He miraculously hit the handbrake and passes me using the outside line and drifting!!
I was like: "WTF??", and ended up in third position.
He later said that he lost the braking point and used the handbrake as a desperate act. Lucky b*****d.
