GT1 : Amazing game and good driving, too bad about the menu soundtrack in the EU and US versions.
GT2 : Amazing game that did way more that GT1 and for me was the best GT game.
GT3 : Put tons of hours in this game and loved it so much and for me the most fun of them all.
GT4 : First really hard to drive but then got used to it and loved it so much that my disks broke several times due to my PS2 overheating. Wish to buy a new PS2 for GT3 and GT4 just so I can enjoy them even more.
GT5P : Really loved it although it was a bit short.
GT5 : Great physics and great cars. Disapointed in standard cars but overall a good racing game.

GT1 - Epic. The mixture of fantasy and realism was perfect.
GT2 - Improved in almost every way. Basically GT1 had grown up into exactly the game it wanted to be.
GT3 - Really missed the massive content from 2 but played for a long time anyway.
GT Concept - Kinda fun :-)
GT4 - Thought I loved it, but gradually realised it had no soul.
GT5P - Graphics unbelievable, but weird, frustrating physics and still soulless. Too much focus on uber-realism.
GT5 - Huge improvement with physics. Disturbingly fine detail on a GT3-size portion of the content. This time took me a while to discover it still hasn't got a soul. Online sucks, and 1p leaves me cold. Even more focus on perfect realism, at the cost of everything else.

Sorry but online does not suck.

Gran Turismo = 4/5 Simply awesome, blew my mind as a kid being able to drive my dad's car as a race car. When I went back and played it, it was as good as ever.

Gran Turismo 2 = 4/5 Improved in every way and was the first GT game that I actually adored, I loved GT1 but not to this extent. Escudo was worth price of admission.

Gran Turismo 3 = 5/5 The perfect Gran Turismo. I think just about everyone agrees with me here. Spectacular soundtrack, great list of cars.

Gran Turismo 2002 Geneva motor show = 3/5 Bought it because it was a new GT game. Was great fun and easy to jump in and play. Maybe should make a return as an external mode in GT6 (The way the career mode was done.).

Gran Turismo 4 = 4/5 Another fantastic game, great memories of me and my best bud playing thorugh this. Oh, and the hilarious turbo glitch. Best part was the sheer amount of events.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue = 4.5/5 Something about this game was just amazing. I think it was because it was my first glimpse of GT on PS3. Bought it right away having got a PS3 for Christmas 2009. Loved the simplicity it provided...reminded me of arcade mode. The online was great minus private lobbies.

Gran Turismo 5 = 5/5 Lived up to my own level of hype, but apparently not to others. On purchasing I played for 19 hours of the first day owning it, bought at midnight release for the first time.

I disagree, online IS awful. Takes too long to find a race and then 9/10 times your rammed constantly, and used as a brake on corners. not fun :(

GT1 - 9/10 Awesome, opened up a whole new way to me of playing a car game. Buy road car, race road car, tune road car, race road car, buy new car. Intro was awesome and still gives me goosebumps!

GT2 - 9/10 more of everything, but (a taster for the future) some problems and glitches stops it getting full score.

GT3 10/10 I was GAGGING for this game, Everything about it was was incredible, loved the intro (big Feeder fan), best graphics at the time. Got my first console wheel just for it and it opened up a whole new level of gaming. Nothing compared to it at the time, few flaws were easily overlooked.

GT4 9/10 more of everything, but the physics were far to understeery for me to fully enjoy, got fed up of flooring a Saleen S7 and instead of fishtailing with spinning wheels would just plow straight on into the wall. Also first GT game to have serious competition (Forza) which didn't help.

GT5 8/10 Part of the game is immense, part of it is crap. The most schizophrenic game I have ever played in my life. Less focused than the other games and aspects have me really wondering where the magic went and I also wonder what Kaz was smoking with some of the decisions that went on.

GT1 - Brilliant, was nothing like it at the time.
GT2 - Better still, exceeded all expectations.
GT3 - Despite next-gen graphics and physics game felt sparse in comparison to GT2
GT4 - Improved on GT3 in the same way GT2 did on GT1 but perhaps expectations were too high and i felt it didn't quite deliver.
GT5 - Massive game-engine improvements, but features it lacks compared to rivals are starting to show the series in a poorer light.

Played 2 and 3 briefly. Owned 4 and played it non-stop for 2 years.

For all the improvements 5 made, it just feels like a total rehash of 4, except with 20% less content. Very disappointing.

I check back on GTP daily hoping for news of a game update that will bring this pile up to the level of GT4

GT1 - Unique, epic, etc (i wish have a time machine to back those days and play for very first time GT1)

GT2 - Epic II

GT3 - Not played

GT4 - the game/simulator i most played in time and every platform in my life.

GT5P - Very nice, lots of fun (not much)

GT5 - Another big step, definitely have that GT charm.

GT1- First game in the series that I owned, loved it. The graphics may not have been the best but it was still brilliant.

GT2- Only recently got, quite like the massive amount of cars, but the races aren't really that good.

GT3- I quite like it. The graphics are an imporovement over GT1/2, but the small number of cars makes it seem a bit short.

GT4- Freaking amazing. By far my favourite. The massive range of cars and the introduction of B-Spec, the courses and the ability to re-win prize cars really make this the best in the series.

GTPSP- Very good. The large range of cars makes this a big game, although the lack of a career mode is a bit disappointing.

GT5- It's good. The graphics on the premiums are amazing, but the removal of some of my favourite courses(Seattle and El Capitan) and cars(Audi Streamline, Old Mercedes-Benzs) and the lack of races, as well as the introduction of the X2010, which made my previous best car, the FGT, seem useless, all make it a bit all-graphics,no-gameplay.
