I has used the car tonight, with medium racing tires, to try at Tsukuba 9hs and totally stock.
My main competitor was the Mine's GT-R but the C7 is capable of beat him without problem. I quit after 40 laps with an advantage of 15 seconds.

The Mine's GT-R isn't really a rival unless maybe you get lucky with the field. Or maybe it could be without the fastest cars, I'm not sure... I swear that when I ran the race the Mine's was pretty fast for the first hour or so and then all of a sudden dropped dramatically in pace and was multiple laps down to several of the top runners(who were very little if any faster at the beginning) by the end.

When I did the race however there was also an S2000 GT1 buried in the field that didn't come to the fore until 3 or 4 hours in and completely changed the game after that.

Not that any of this changes the C7's performance, of course.

I like it. Even with the restrictions. I get to enjoy it as it is, I can wait to hop one up when the production car is added to the game.

There just keek lol, there's just something about them I can't take to, I don't know what it is lol

Same here. Even when the production car is out I will most likely only buy a exhaust manifold, so it shoots flames when I upshift and down shift :sly: and new suspension, it rolls a little bit.

Glad we have it, wish we could modify it, understand why we can't, no big deal. 👍

I had fun with it on Sports Soft. The car was a lot of fun. Maybe a new race car just for the heck of it.

Tried it out of the box and lowered the brake balance as per usual.

First thing I noticed was the steering, relative to the C5 Z06 I have, I get alot more confidence. Precise with good feedback. Very positive and ratio feels spot on.

Suspension control is like the ZR1, well damped but less brake dive and roll surprisingly.

It also feels alot more solid at speed and under brakes. Good grip too.

Balance is off though, I think that electronic differential needs tweaking, seems to understeer too much.

But being a Corvette, you can still hoon it sideways around corners with proper gusto.

Powertrain pulls strongly in 7th gear even at low speed, nearly spooky how refined it seems.

And when you gun it it revs towards 7k with a convincing quad-cam impersonation.

Oh and for the record, aside from the vent and rear light execution I think it looks fantastic, especially in cyber gray.

Interior and gauges are just gorgeous too.

It is very stable at speed, handles well too. The Carbon Fibre hood and roof helps with the distribution 50/50.

It was a great car but it got boring because you cannot do anything with it.

I like the new Corvette. Front looks good, back doesn't. They should've sticked to the round taillights like on the Prototype... :(

If we speak about the game specifically, I like the C7 is added at this point already, but I don't like to be forced to use the stock colours.

Also I'd love to try it out with more power. For now I'll stick with the C6 ZR-1 and Z06.

And as always, there's no point in a DLC release if there's nothing to do with it. Sure, people host C7 lobbies and such, but PD needs to learn a Seasonal drift trial event where you're doing far better in other Vette versions just isn't enough to promote new content.

Give us a racing series and a couple of medium/hard trophies for each released car and track. Hell, if even EA can do this with their games, why is nobody at PD having this idea?

Now I can't say anything about the Un-Masked C7, but I can say I absolutley hated the camo'd one. It's generally too "snappy" and there is just something about it.... it feels..... lazy and boring.

An apt description of the unveiled prototype. Hoped for something a little more little more exciting.

I know its free. But I can't get it my psstore is messed up I'm on the phone with CS to try and get it fixed haha. I think this is the longest I've gone without getting the new DLC ever.

A really hard car to drift! It tends to understeer when trying to drift it. No transmission tune and can't be upgraded. Soon it will be tune able but that's in a long time. Few months I don't know.

I agree that it pulls strongly in any gear, but I can't help but think of the 7th gear as a gizmo. Apart from highspeed relaxed cruising, I can't see myself using it. Most tracks don't even have a long enough straight to use 7th when gunning it. And we don't have the option to adjust the gearing, I hate it when I've got too much gears :grumpy:

That aside, I do like the car though. As others have mentioned it's quite a fun car to throw/slide around some corners
