And, Year.Zero: A videocamera? That's awesome! Be serious, man!

I had a very specific one in mind for a few months now, and because I'm in film school, I was looking fairly seriously at a heavy duty camera. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the one I got (a Canon ZR800) because it just isn't powerful enough to perform or produce results like the HD cameras...

I'm grateful for the Christmas presents and appreciate the effort and all that went into it, but...I just can't use it...:guilty::indiff::ill:

Roo
- 320GB harddrive
- Nokia 6300 phone
- 1:36 Corgi Winter Mini Rally Set Diorama

- Jim Bamber "The Pits 14"

Add to that a 2 million candle power spotlight.

Considering we, the family, decided to cut back on gifts this year, and instead spend the money on a family holiday come summer, I got away pretty well off methinks :-)

  • Tickets and Trip to the MotoGP race at Brno.
  • Box with 6 Russ Meyer movies.
  • The Silverspoon cookbook <- The awesomeness !
  • Volbeat : Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil - on vinyl ! Exquisite
  • Lost Season 3
  • Box with 6 of Clarksons older shows (Head to Head, Heaven and Hell, No Limits, Shoot Out and "Top Gear - Back in the Fast Lane")
  • Death Proof, 2 Disc Spec. Edition.

Merry Christmas to all at GTP...

As per usual, I either got half my presents early or late, so here's a run down.

£10 Book token (which I have given to my Mum)
£10 WHSmiths voucher
£15 in cash
And I think there's a couple of other things. Slippers, random flask thing and a book filled with amusing cat pictures.

I have a similar 154 piece craftsmen tool set, probably one of the best things I've ever bought.

Methinks it will get plenty of good use :D
Funny thing about tools, you don't know how much you can use them until you have them. When my dad gave a tool set a few years back I couldn't fathom what I would use them on, then I "fixed" everything that I previously thought I could just live with in its current state.

Then there was the time I locked myself out of my apartment and got back in by removing the window.

That's another way of telling us about your previous employment as a burglar ? ;-)

From my boss and the only present I got this Christmas...

Samsung R25P Notebook

I got...

Ipod touch 16gig w/ case
skate (360)
orange box (360)
Gift cards for Pacsun, Zumiez, Hot Topic and American Eagle
clothes from said stores
I am getting a new cell phone on the 30th when my contract is up, I want the voyager, envy or neon blue chocolate.

Awesome Christmas if I do say so myself.👍

A DS Lite (that I have to return because the screen is off center).
An AR Max (that I can't get to work right).
An R4DS (that is in massive shortages so it may not arrive until January).
And Test Drive Unlimited.
So, either incredibly awesome or incredibly unlucky.

I'll make a shortlist of the things I received:

-A Barbeque
-A Columbia ski jacket
-A ski helmet and goggles
-A sweater, some socks, and a pair of boxers
-A toaster oven
-A couple boxes of chocolates
-A pair of cheques for $100 each
-The Orange Box for PC

Not so much presents, but stuff I bought with some of the money I received at Christmas:

A new 360 headset and probably a bluetooth one for the PS3 will be coming along soon. :D

I never read 'Born to be Riled', but the chapters are about random opinions he has about things right? I've read some of that before in other books of his and it's pretty good. But 'Don't Stop Me Now' is a mixture of both - a story before hand which will then lead onto the opinion he has of the car in the particular chapter. I personally prefer this, so I'd say it's a must buy. 👍

And to top it off, it contains images of every car he talks about.

That's another way of telling us about your previous employment as a burglar ? ;-)
If a burglar did it the way I did it then they would be horrible as it was not a quick process and two of my neighbors came by at the time.

GM
I got..

  • The three BMW's in this post.
  • A 1:43 Lancia Flaminia in silver
  • Some deodorant
  • A calender which goes through until the end of 2009.
  • Some HMV tokens and around £140 cash.
  • And lots of other smaller things.

Edit - I forgot to add I also got the Family Guy movie (Stewie Griffin, The Untold Story) and Green Wing Season 2 on DVD.
