That is 2004 for those who don't know :odd:

Anyways, I am kinda staying away from things I like (my interest for videogaming is slowly fading away), and lately 4 has turned out to be my lucky number. I actually thought 2003 was going to be the best year, and it was, but somehow other people suffered really bad on this year. I also got my residence so I am really close to going back to my mothercountry to see that girl I havent seen from four years ago.

Maybe get a job too.

First off, 1 thing ain't gonna cut it for me. I need a lot more work than that.

- Give up booze

- Get a job

- Stop spongeing off my father

- Umm... be a good father...

- Get my own house

- Get my own car

- Be monogamous

- Start takeing night courses

- Be a valueable contributeing member of society

- I want to finally grow up and start acting like I am 20 years old

But I'm still going to be an asshole to drifters and st00pid n00bs.

That ain't changeing anytime soon.

Get a job and anything else I come up with

My resolution for year 2004 is 1280X1028. 👍

Ha.Ha.

Seriously, my resolution is not to have any resolution. I don't really stick with them, so there's no use anyway.

I'm gonna give up smoking. The plan is to smoke so many cigarettes at our New Year's party that I'll be sick and tired of them the next morning.

Haha!

I don't give new years resolutions, but I've planned to loose 4-5 kgs after all the eating and boozing during and between christmas & new years eve.

Smorgasbord galore for a few more days.

Spend even less time on forums than I have been lately.:)

Good luck, ive done that before, but a day or 2 later you will come crawling back...:trouble:

get my life together after last year and the issues that have tried me. . . I think since about June here at GTP my demeanor in life has changed and my attitude too. . . Time for these scars to heal.

I'm supposed to be quitting smoking. My wife reminds me every day. I'm not hopeful. It seems like another opportunity to fail again.

Meh, I love positive attitudes. :)

Sounds like he has taken a page out of my book.

Rumples Words of Wisdom

You tried hard and failed. What did you hopefully learn? Never to try so damn hard again.

Goodluck milefile.

Oh I know it's pathetic. It's just that I've tried to quit before and started again. So then not only are you a smoker, but a failure. Homer-Simpsonology tells me the lesson in all of that is: Never try.

I guess this is where my "never say die" attitude conflicts in this situation. . . well to each his own :D

Mile, I am right there with you with the smoking thing. I almost quit, got 28 days into it and then a friend, Anne-Marie handed me her cigarette at the bar and I puffed. I was 1 day away from the mental addiction to be gone. Just use your support system to quit. Look to your son and think of his health everytime you want a stog. :D

I would like to not be arrogant and teenagerish.
But the very nature of the problem kind of means it can't be helped. Maybe when I'm twenty-eight I'll grow up.

I should stop complaining about school, accept that I can't change it, and not care about it.

I'm very strict about not smoking when it is remotely possible that he could even see it through a window. I never smoke in the house or around anyone. I just don't want anyone to think I smoke around kids or anyone else. I'm a "closet smoker". It is completely a personal problem.

I hear ya bro,.. I'm on try #1573

Though, I AM further than I have ever been,... I havent smoked a cigarette in 1 week, 4 days, 6 hours, and 34 minutes :D

... btw,.. it's been the most wretched week of my entire life...... :banghead: If the ol' lady hadn't forced me into doin it,.. I'm quite sure she would've left me by now :p

I'm making no resolutions. I never do. This way, all changes seem much more miraculous when I look back upon them.

Mile, tell her of how you could be eased off of cigarettes if you could only replace them with a revolver, or has that matter been settled?

I've been waiting until after the holidays to revive it. Timing is everything. That fugitive from the law hiding out in our nieghborhood about a week ago (high speed chase, police helicopter, the whole nine yards) was a prime opportunity to toss out a few comments, and I took it.

I never make resolutions... otherwise, I'd forget about them (I have the worst memory out of anybody I know).

I'm too lazy.

Why do I need one?

This'll be a good contest.

Seriously though, I'm hoping to do well this semester so I can get off of Academic Probation & to pass accounting this time around.
