Yeah I love those too. I don't know if you've ever seen the opening of Cannonball Run but the very first shot is a Lamborghini Countach with the large spoiler going down an empty road. It was taken from helicopter, and the combination of the first few seconds of the soundtrack, the sight and the engine used to send shivers down my spine.

The rest of the film is garbage, of course. :dopey:

Wow, I haven't seen that movie in years. But yeah, there's just something about a Countach driving fast. 👍

If you can fit in a CRX or AW11 then you'd fit in an R32.

They're not that expensive either. 👍

I live in the USA; no R32s for me. Maybe when I win the lottery I can get a summer home in Canada...

As for the CRX, I don't know if I'd be able to fit in one well enough to drive it, but there's a guy my height who drives a MR2, so that shouldn't be too bad, at least.

In about a year from now, the earliest production R32 Skylines will be eligible for importation to the US.

Here's a list I found in the deep recesses of my computer. It's completely unrealistic, hence the MiGs, B52s etc., and cars that don't yet or no longer exist (Hennessey APV, Diablo VTTT, Landie Centre Steer). It's also completely out-of-date but whatever, you can tell a lot about me from it :p Yes I'm obsessed with Land Rovers :sly:

Wow, you're crazy
Bugatti Veyron Supersport
McLaren F1

Hmmmm...

Realistic:
NA MX-5 - Already have convinced the girlfriend :D
GC Impreza WRX STI - they can be imported now...
E39 M5 - Well, the initial purchase price. The upkeep should probably push it into Semi...
AW11 MR2 - Why yes, I want to have a driveable piece of origami 👍
Ford Fiesta ST - Pint-sized fun.
Subaru BRZ - Surprise surprise.

Semi-Realistic:
DC2 Integra Type R - I miss driving a DC2, and this is a modern legend.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage - One of the current gen, it gets placed here in hopes depreciation still applies for a few years.
Lotus Exige - Probably before I get too old to be able to tolerate it
NA1 NSX - I see they're already appreciating. Crap.
Z4 M Coupe - Those lines. That engine.
E92 M3 - The last NA M engine :(
FD RX-7 - Saw one last night, and it's still a gorgeous car.
Porsche 930 T / 964 RS / 993 C2 - Because it has to be done.

Unrealistic:
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale - UNF.
Aston Martin Vanquish - Either the first or current gen really.
Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale - Probably the only modern Ferrari I genuinely crave.
Lambo Gallardo 570-4 SL - Still awesome.
Dodge Viper GTS - Blue/white, natch.
Porsche 991 GT3 - Yep, that's right. No manual. The shock! The horror!

Federal.

And to add, it must be 25 years to the production month. Currently, cars made before August 1988 are eligible for importation.

I might have to go visit some family relatives in Canada... lol

I haven't done unrealistic lists in a while but I have put good thought into the realistic one about 12 years from now and it goes:
E39 M5
E92 M3
Porsche 993tt or 997tt
NA1 NSX
Range Rover (undecided on the model)

EDIT: Gave some thought to the unrealistic one (going all out here with what I want)
Carrera GT
Range Rover HSE Supercharged
E39 M5
E92 M3
Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
Ferrari F430
UGR TT Gallardo
Twin turbo 600WHP NSX
Ford Raptor with the SUV conversion
Porsche 993TT with a GT2 conversion
S600 Guard benz
I think that pretty much fulfills my every automotive desire
