Im currently setting it up for the ring' and have problems with it being unstable under turn in,such that when i bleed off the brakes upon entering a corner, the back end steps out...the suspension is soft enough and the diff lock isnt unreasonably low...settings as follows

SUSPENSION
ride height F;+5 R,+5
spring rate F;12.1 R;10.8
dampers(ext) F;8 R;8
dampers(comp) F;7 R;6
a.r.b F;5 R;6
camber(-) F;1.6 R;0.8
toe F;-0.05 R;0.15

LSD
initial torque F;0 R;8
acc sens F;0 R;31
braking sens F;0 R;20

BRAKE BALANCE

balance F;5 R;2

I've been using the Corvette Z06 RM quite a lot, It is the third car I purchased in GT5

Now on to your settings, here's my settings that I've been using on all tracks.
A big deference between yours settings and mine is that I do not use LSD. I do buy LSD but I do not use it.

Down Force F/35 B/60
Ride Height F/0 B/0
Spring Rate F/5.0 B/5.0
Dampers(ext) F/1 B/1
Dampers(comp) F/1 B/1
Roll-Bar F/7 B/7
Camber F/0 B/0
Toe F/0 B/0

LSD Off

Breaks F/5 B/5

------

Try these setting to see if they can help

Just try reducing rear extension; it *should* keep weight from transferring forward quite so suddenly.

I'd point you to my own tune for the Z06 RM but it being slightly unstable under braking is the #1 gripe with it; I don't notice it with my driving but others do, so... Use at your own risk.

What I use is:
Initial: 0/7
Accel:-- 0/25
Braking: 0/5

You may want to raise the braking sensitivity somewhat if you're still having problems with the tail trying to step out; 15 or so should make it dead stable.

Ok,I'll give it a shot..just wondering, does the diff lock(deceleration) activate under braking or as soon as youre off the throttle?

Any time the car is being forced to slow down, be it via the brakes themselves or engine braking. That said, if you apply throttle while braking it will apply the acceleration value.

yea,i can see why, vette understeers a little.but i prefer that.Maybe i will try having the front lower than the rear...

Done and done:)car now handles great! I can now modulate the brakes in corners without problem and the car handles smooth in general with good traction while having 570hp and race hard tires. Thanks guys!
