Good to race with you guys again, and thanks for organzing the event cobrius, I really liked the sports medium approach! I havent got much time for GT5 anymore, but as Ive told Warrius, I will be keeping an eye out for events with lesser hp.:)

Thanks Cobrius and all other fellow racers!

As usually I skidded around back in the field, specially on Madrid...not my favourite track.

I notice that I'm slowly getting more skilled and is able to keep the car on track the whole race (Deep forest). Thats nice! Still several seconds after you fast guys, but some day you will see the Rose in your rearview mirror. Some day... :)

The details for the Karting Cup #2 are up...

The Zero Cup is (at last) in the official calendar so this thread is not really needed anymore.

Warrius, this is the last Federal Tesla we made, I am on the far left of the photo, and standing next to me is Norfolk assassin.

Oh yes, now you're pointing it out, that's all we can then see... no, not the floodlight, I mean the belly... :D

I had a lot of fun in last nights race, at Burgenland I was close to finshing 3rd as JamesyBograt spun out in front of me with 2 laps to go, but on the final lap I lost my concentration and went off track 3 times, and he made a great pass to finish 3rd. A good start at Suzuka was spoiled when I overshot the chikane and rammed the tirewall, and spent the rest of the race fighting to get back in the top half. Clearly more rusty than usual.

Save me a spot for the 1M event, sounds very promising. I wont be attending Spa, I wouldnt trust Sony with as much as my used bustickets, not to say my creditcard information. But I'll join you guys at Derwent.

And happy X-mas to you all.

Oh yes, I forgot that Spa is not available anymore for those who didn't get the DLC. I will change the track.

I invite you to make full use of the blog instead of this thread, which is only really used by Ade to post his dodgy pictures... :p

As there is no Trident event tonight, I was going to have a bit of practice for next weeks Zero Cup about 8.00pm tonight, and then after maybe a bit of a taster for next years Sunday Cup with a short 10 lap race in the 96 Elise RM.

I cant log in to the Zero site, if I try, it wants me to create a blog or something.
So here's my take on yesterdays race; loved the car, great to drive these evenly matched standard cars on sports mediums. Derwent gave me some problems though, amazing to see the speed some of the faster guys had on this track, I think I was loosing at least 3 secs pr. lap. I think this might be one of the tracks where using a wheel gives a great advantage. On GVR I managed to stay clear of the accident early in the race and got into a fairly good rhythm, couldnt keep JamesyBograt behind for very long though and approaching the last third of the race, my tires were giving up, and cobrius with his steady grinding pace overtook me as well. But a very good race. Looking forward to what the Sky Cup has to offer!

Massive up.
The Zero Cup has seen its attendance decline a bit. New drivers are sought.

If you like driving your car with medium to low grip and close to zero tuning, this is the place...

Bear in mind that the Zero Cup is in its 36th week and has a history of its own.
