Did you RM after buying parts? Maybe they took parts off you need to put back on. Also your hp will go up as you drive the first 100-200 miles.

it will go up 100 hp? and yess i did rm after buying the parts and im pretty sure i went and re-equiped them

it can't hurt to fully check and check every single attachment category to make sure you bought the best of the best.

So, we should equip other high end parts AFTER race modifying to get an even greater hp increase? Also, what tires are best (all around) for the ZR-1 RM? Racing soft? If so, won't those A) wear out too quickly in certain races....and....B) not allow you to run in certain events?

now the only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't sound like the real race car
This bothers me. The 'C6R' in this game sounds nothing like it does in real life. When the ALMS came to Houston to race around the Astrodome I went to watch and I could tell when the C6R was coming even when it was in a pack of cars. It sounds so loud and beastly....if they could give it the M5 exhaust note it would be almost spot-on.

After racemodding a car, you have to enable all tuning parts again in the tuning menu!
I was confused too when I racemodded a car for the first time

^^Or....if this is the case, one could just go straight to an RM set-up from the start and mod with extra parts if needed along the way. My point/question is.....you can always do RM first, correct?

Yes, in fact it's a good idea as the RM gives you some mods by default.

If you do not install parts before Rm you can't install them? Third engine stage wont get equipped for some reason. But I can buy it over and over and over ....

^^So now I'm hearing the opposite of what I mentioned a few posts above? We should NOT do the RM first for fear of not being able to have access to some of the additional mods later? Which is it?

Agreed. I'm pissed. It's all whiny now. Nothing like a real C6R.

My understanding the RM gives you full suspension and full tranny, along with the aero?

As for the engine mods, my RM'ed civic I had to "reinstall" stage 3 (tuning) while in garage.

Step 1: Buy the car
Step 2: Change the oil
Step 3: Install the Race Modification
Step 4: Head to the tune shop and get whatever else you like.

RM includes several parts, namely racing suspension, fully customizable transmission, weight reductions, and so on.
