ZR1 help?

I've been having a blast tuning this ZR1 and beat a lot of people but when I run other Vettes I always get the launch but they still pull pretty close. Am I losing top end due to a bad trans? Or just shifting? I try to shift 500 RPM before Redline and I 2-3 Quickshift off the line. I trap 168-170 depending on shifts.
 
hmmm, im trapping 165 mph @ 999 hp with the zr1,
wonder if the extra 50 hp would would give me the xtra 5mph.
makes sense 1 mph for every 10 hp ?

Maybe. Depends on how your, tune launch, shift, etc... With perfect launch and shifts I trap 172.

Make sure you have all parts installed bro..

#1- Always get an " Engine Overhaul "


Chassis improvement, helps. just gotta have an eye for certain cars will need it..

Not sure what ZR-1 traps.. don't really play much anymore. but one thing bout GT6 you gotta place the main two gears PERFECT.. which are 3rd & 4th.. trust me.. you'll will see a difference in pull..

Suppose to be like that on GT5, but never really made a difference.. just make sure you keep your 5th 6th close.. most pull with closed final drive & closed 6th.. trust me.

My zr1 is full tuned 1065bhp 684pp so i dont anderstand why is it lag :-(

Your gears possible.. or maybe your suspension. raise up your ride height all the way up front soft spring stiff rear springs.. and figure the rest yourself lol... don't wanna just give it all out..
 
10 mph to differance it's a lot, i'm not sure the spring can resolve the problem, and i try to change my gear during one hour that changed nothing to the hit. i'm just faster or slower.

Umm, the ZR1 doesn't get 1,065hp, it only gets 1,050hp, you might want to go back and check that.

Willing to bet he isn't from the states, and even though he used bhp as his unit of measure, it's probably 1065cv

Even if the car is brand new you should overhaul the engine? Most of my tuned cars have about 200 miles with just oil changes?
 
If you watch fraternity187's GT5 videos he uses BHP and he has the same numbers as HP, BHP and HP are the exact same the only difference is the torque numbers on BHP is way lower because it's a different measurement on torque numbers I guess, but most likely you're running CV, if you're in HP and it has 1,065 then it's a hack, just saying, check your measurements.

Put 1050 bhp into the converter, 1064,6 hp is what you get. There is a difference.

Yes get an " Engine Overhaul " its like doing a complete engine flush in real life.. its a rebuild refill.. DO IT!!!!
 
After your tips i rebuild my engine and change oil, then i change my setting and now i use this one ( maybe it's not good, but i can compare) . No change I always hit 160 mph.

Just remember, you CAN make that tune faster or use it as a basis for a faster one.
