Logitech PRO Racing Wheel (PlayStation/PC)

The PRO Racing Wheel is Logitech's flagship: an 11 Nm direct drive base with TRUEFORCE and a complete wheel in one box. Direct drive puts the wheel on the motor's shaft, so forces arrive cleanly and quickly, and 11 Nm is strong enough to hold a slide or catch a snap of oversteer with real weight behind it. TRUEFORCE adds engine and road detail on top in supported games. The wheel has magnetic shift paddles with contactless sensors and two analog clutch paddles that can also work as a handbrake or extra axes, and it comes off the Logitech quick release if you want a different wheel later. A removable table clamp is included, but pedals are not, so plan for a set such as the PRO Racing Pedals with their load cell brake. It works with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Logitech also sells the 11 Nm base on its own as the PRO DD11, for drivers who already have a Logitech wheel.

PRO Racing Wheel vs. RS50 System

The RS50 System keeps direct drive, TRUEFORCE, and the same quick release, at 8 Nm and with a simpler round wheel. For most drivers on a desk, 8 Nm is plenty. Wheels and pedals work across both bases, so nothing is stranded if you start with the RS50 and move up to the PRO later.

PRO Racing Wheel vs. Fanatec ClubSport DD+

Fanatec's ClubSport DD+ is the step up from here, and it means leaving Logitech. It offers 18 Nm with FullForce, Fanatec's own high-frequency detail, and a much wider choice of wheels and pedals on its QR2 quick release. It is licensed for PlayStation too. It comes without a table clamp and is happiest bolted into a cockpit, and none of your Logitech wheels or pedals carry over.
