Direct drive
The steering wheel bolts straight onto the motor's shaft, with no belts or gears in between. Nothing sits between you and the forces the game is sending, so curbs, grip loss, and the front tires loading up arrive sharply and in the right order.
HARMONY: what this means
HARMONY
Thrustmaster's name for force feedback that adds high-frequency detail on top of the steering forces: curbs, tire squeal, and road texture, played through the wheel base's own motor.

Quick release
The coupling that holds the steering wheel onto the base and lets you swap wheels without tools. Each manufacturer has its own, and they do not interchange: a Fanatec wheel does not fit a Moza base because the couplings are different shapes.

The T-GT III is an officially licensed Gran Turismo 7 racing wheel bundle. The box holds a T598-P Direct Axial Drive servo base, the GT Wheel Add-On rim, and the Raceline 2-Pedals Load Cell pedal set. It works on PS5, PS4, and PC (Windows 10/11).
The base delivers 5 Nm of constant torque, with up to 10 Nm of overshoot capability and 5 ms latency. It uses HARMONY technology and has a Race Dash display for live telemetry and for adjusting force feedback and pedal settings. Dynamic haptic effects such as GEAR JOLT and ENGINE ROAR can be adjusted on the fly.
The detachable 11 inch (28 cm) round rim is wrapped in synthetic leather. It has 4 metal rotary encoders with push buttons, 2 mini-sticks, and 2 metal paddle shifters, with functions mapped automatically in Gran Turismo. The all-metal pedals use a 100 kg (220 lb) load cell, 4 spring configurations, and a preload dial. A clamping system, 98 W power supply, USB cable, and pedal cable are included.
