Thrustmaster GT Wheel Add-On

Thrustmaster QR: what this means
Quick release
The coupling that holds the steering wheel onto the base and lets you swap wheels without tools. Each manufacturer has its own, and they do not interchange: a Fanatec wheel does not fit a Moza base because the couplings are different shapes.
280 mm: what this means
Wheel diameter
The rim's width across, in millimeters. Bigger wheels ask for more arm movement and make small corrections easier to place, while smaller ones are faster to whip through a hairpin and are what formula cars actually use.
An officially licensed Gran Turismo wheel with a 28 cm round rim for Thrustmaster's T598 and T818 bases.

The GT Wheel Add-On puts the round wheel of the T-GT on Thrustmaster's next-gen Quick Release, so it fits the T598 and T818 direct drive bases with no adapter. It is officially licensed by Gran Turismo and Sony, was developed with Polyphony Digital, and works on PS5, PS4, and PC (Windows 10/11).
The 28 cm rim is wrapped in fine synthetic leather with a smooth texture and stitching. It has 4 metal rotary encoders with a push function for 12 commands in all, 2 mini-sticks, a D-pad, 4 tact-switch action buttons, Share and Options buttons, and 2 metal shift paddles. Gran Turismo maps the encoders to traction control, brake balance, fuel map, and torque distribution, and on PC they can be reassigned.
It weighs 1.3 kg and measures 280 by 80 by 280 mm.
