Want to find out if there is a GT5 demo at a public retail location near you? Well, you have come to the right place:tup:. This thread will hold a list of all the store locations in the USA, Canada and Internationally.

Rules: In order for a store's location to be added to this list you most post the following pieces of information:

-The address (if its international just write it how you normally would)
-Name of the store (ie Best Buy, Gamestop, etc)
-A link to its location on google maps so that others can find it easily.
-It must be a retailer not a convention or trade show.
-Last but not least you MUST provide either photographic or video proof that there is in fact a GT5 demo at the stated location. (There will be no cross country road trips ending in tears here). Locations without "proof" will get an (unconfirmed sticker).

Any other discussion should be kept to a minimum.

Where in Fl? I haven't seen one in Gainesville yet but 'tyv2448 ' claims to have played it in Sarasoto under the news comments.

I hope there is one in Gainesville soon. There is actually a best buy right across the street from me, so tomorrow (if i remember) i will try to go and check it out. Hopefully with some good news.
 
Well, when I went to the U.S. on Thursday they had it at the Best Buy in the Walden Galleria (Cheektowaga, NY, United States‎). But it didn't occur to me to get "proof" of it at the time (not that I had anything with me). I did enjoy it though, even though the TV you play it on makes it look not so great. :lol:
 
I was hitting up Fry's Electronics today for a flash drive and saw the PS3 demo setup. I quit out of MLB the Show, and low and behold... GT5 2010 Demo!
I tried the Citroen GT on the Nordschleife, and Jeff Gordon's NASCAR car in Rome (just for the pure absurdity of it all lol)

I believe that each single race allows 2 minutes of racing before quitting to the menu. I know.. I don't have a pic. I never thought to take a pic, so you'd have to go off my word.

If you live on the south end of Houston, or in Webster/Clear Lake/NASA area you should check it out. I can promise you it is on the PS3 between the 360 and the Wii playing Metroid.

I live only an hour from Buffalo. Hopefully that means it's close to Rochester!
 
Didn't manage to get proof but I played the demo at the Best Buy on Joyce St. in Fayetteville, Ar. Played for an hour on Thursday and Friday( no lines!) I did experienced a major bug that made the road disappear on the 'ring for the first 30-45 seconds,( all three times I played it) and another that did the same at Rome for maybe 3 or 4 seconds. I was curious if anyone else has seen anything similar. The dirt at Toscana was fantastic, really looking forward to the rally courses now.

lol This BB will be known in the GT5 world where we first saw extreme damage! haha I couldn't help but drop my jaw playing such a short demo. It's hard to hide that kind of excitement.

I would say very unlikely. Even though they have demo builds, it has to get review and approved by Sony. It has to be under 2gb. Double checked to make sure there are no bugs. And on and on... We will probably get a demo after release.
 
Just got back from Best Buy...they had Modnation Racers playing so I quit to the dashboard and there it was! Drove the 458 on Tokyo and then the Gallardo on the Ring with the world's worst beat up PS3 controller. They really need to put new controllers on those demo kiosks.
The damage looked great..if they keep it the way it is in this demo I'd be happy. Both cars sounded good too.
