Thanks for sharing these tidbits, Andreas. I hope all is well!

Yes, gNNY, thanks for your efforts!

As for the movie, we sort of already know it's going to have some influences from GTA, but if there's anything interesting outside of that like a release window or the progression please tell us!

Did I write 100 x 100 km? Meant to write 100 x 100 METER...!

Just kidding. Actually, I am not sure what he said, now that you point it out. It's not n my notes but should be in the audio file I've recorded. I keep you updated. Until then: apply grain of salt.

On a different note: why does nobody want to know about the movie? He did answer a question about that....
The game is more interesting and something Kaz is directly involved in making. We know film is going to be about GT Academy, racing is human drama as Kaz would say. I wonder how hollywood they will make it though. Anything interesting Kaz said about the movie?

Ask about Livery Editor and Event Editor. That's all I want to know. For now.

[Sorry, I didn't notice that the time for questions is over]

Livery editor not confirmed but something is in store for Tokyo Game Show, wait till then for an announcement.

I have a feeling PD are still undecided, so it could POTENTIALLY be included in the game. Maybe they're just waiting to drop a big reveal in their 'home' show. Still lots of time to build more hype before the release.

Track editor will allow a track on a 100 km by 100 km area.

If this is correct, just imagine the kind of EPIC track you could create in an area that's 10,000km² in size!

Yes, indeed. Remember how you got your press kit signed way back when and I didn't? Well, now mine is signed as well. So excited :)

As for the movie: Kaz spend quite some time on answering a generic question about it telling me he lkes that idea quite a bit. The plot so far is sort of based on the path and success of an Academy participant. Kind of a Lucas bio-pic. Bottom line is that this seems to be no marketing scheme by Sony but something that he and PD want as well. We'll see...

They have enough of a motorsports movie fix with Rush on the way, perhaps?

- Course Maker innovations, what are they exactly?
- GPS feature - will it allow to record GPS data and import it in the Course Maker to produce user-created tracks?
- any more "Original Courses" (legacy tracks) besides Apricot Hill? Midfield, Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley, Taity Road..?
- will all tracks get day/night and weather change?
- oil-change in pits for multiplayer?
- will we see return of the Official Matchmaking online races as in GT5:Prologue?
- will GT6 have online Seasonal Events as GT5?
- will GT6 Mobile Application work on the Vita too (on top of the smartphones and tables, as announced)?
- will GT6 allow for head-tracking via PSEye to be used in other modes besides Arcade races (if any)?
- will the Red Bull X1 return for GT6?
- will there be "Car Creator" (create your own vehicle) in GT6?

Thank you in advance ;)
This is why we love (Respect)you amaar212

Another question. Will the Stealth/chromeline cars return?
Yes I know the Anniversary "Blue Army" cars fill a similar role, but I have a diecast of the Nissan one

*sigh*

I'm so tired of my hopes falling and rising with every new announcement. I just want a yes or no answer. -.-

As I posted on the comments page, it seems to me that this movie will be a sort of "European" Days of Thunder. Now before I get harassed, I frankly like the way this is going. Especially the fact that Kaz is onboard and that it will use GT Academy.

more hollywood car porn is totally cool by me. Can't wait for Rush to come out. Less than a month now, right?

I appreciate all your work for us.

The only question I have is in regards to the customization of the cars? I would like to know about aero parts!

Yes, as would I! There are about 4 or 5 others requesting the same thing. I'd like to know if you can create your own 'racecar' with these parts. It would be great to know if its just wings and wheels, or if were going to get front splitters and sideskirts? Another thing was that there were 'hidden features' in GT5 like engine and turbo stage 4 & 5, weight reduction stage 4 & 5. 5 in particular said something along the lines of "replacing body panels in carbon fiber". So it would be really awesome if PD could let you do this level of tuning to have your car have that bare carbon fiber look (like the hoods) or leave it body colored.

Any chance that's 10x10 instead of 100x100? Because 100x100 km is huge. I mean, if you drive in 200 km/h it would take half an hour to get from one end to the other. The straights on Route X are 10 km long, for comparison.

I checked the audio and here's what was said:
Translator-San
An area of 100 km by 100 km will be available for the users to layout their tracks freely on

Now of course I don't know if something got lost in translation there but that's what Translator-San said.

As for customizing the car, Kaz said that they haved worked something out which they will most likely reveal at Tokyo Game Show. It will most likely not go to the full extend that most requesters want it to go so don't get your hopes up high. But I'm pretty sure it's going to be more than what we have right now. However, we'll have to wait until later for an official answer on that.

My thoughts exactly. When GT5 was at TGS in 2010 they revealed the weather effects (which visually was spectacular, but not implemented enough in GT5 events) and the X1 (which was fun until everyone duped it). So we'll probably see the best features of GT6 at TGS, we just have to wait... :)

As for the 100 x 100 km track, that's freaking amazing ! If course maker is implemented more and structured better in GT6 than it was in GT5, then it'll be a great feature.

That would mean that this town is only the "center" of attention and there are more roads we can drive on that we haven't seen yet.

And Andreas? You interviewed Famine and Venari at Gamescom 2010. I/We appreciate all of this.

Thanks for these additional details, Andreas.

Do you think he could have actually been referring to 100 square km? I don't know how that would translate from Japanese, but it would make sense how Translator-san possibly misspoke there. That would be a much more reasonable and realistic size.
