That looks awful, all silver it looks good. That just looks like a chav has got hold of it and ruined it.

That one looks bloody awful, keep the lip black but for god sake don't make the skirts and bumpers black too.

with a shiney GTR Badge :D

I wanted to hit the track but all the sessions were full :( filled with tons of civics that dont care about each others cars:indiff: too bad, maybe next time:)

I've been to the Wangan Warriors End of Year meet 2012!

Wangan Warriors is a club with Japanese only cars. and they organize decent meets were everybody just chills and hangs out with other car enthousiasts. (Dumpd for example etc.)

when pretty much everyone left i took my chance to do a small photoshoot together with a C210 Skyline!

Time for an update!

remember that orange R32 GTR in one of the pics when i picked my car up @ Pro Import? and that picture of a huge turbo?

That R32 had a BIG overhaul! and even that is an understatement...
it has been completely stripped down and build up with new parts..
the engine has been swapped with an RB30, with Nitto Stroker internals making it a 3,2L. the turbo is a Garret custom order GTX42 series Turbo..

on C16 fuel it produces 1253Hp and 1430Nm!!! and thats without using the huge NOS system..

The car had its first tests and a magazine shoot @ Circuit Park Zandvoort 3 januari 2013.
Pro Import also asked its loyal customers to come take a look.

because my R33 isnt in a garage this winter i took it out for a spin.
all i can say, the R32 (wich is called El Toro.) sounds amazing!
they hired the whole circuit for the magazine shoot and tests

at the end of the day there was some track time left over for some customers, so i could finally get on the track with my own R33 GTR!
on a pretty much empty track (just 3 Skylines and a BMW M6)

it was great fun! and the car handled awsome! it makes you confident to go fast. after 3 laps i hit 220kmh on the straight :) temperatures were all good and the brakes performed good aswell. chassis was able to take even more power and im sure i want to do this more often!:)

because of that i've ordered some extra upgrades.
Koyorad Aluminium Radiator R33GTR
HKS Racing Intercooler R33 GTR
Injector Dynamics 1000cc Injectors
Turbosmart FPR800 fuelpressure regulator
Hypertune Billet Fuelrail Kit
Bosch 044 Fuelpump kit.
Complete Remap by Henk Go

with these upgrades its possible to get 600hp out of it with ease..
i want to keep it a bit safe though so im aiming for 550hp.

Oh and here are some vids of some El Toro Tests....

Keep you guys updated!
they are currently working on the fuel system:)
Cant wait what Henk will get out of it, aiming for a responsive 550+hp:)

Time for a little update

The fuelrail took a bit longer to arrive then expected, but it has arrived now so it was time to start working on the car again.

the old fuelrail has been removed, Injectors are installed. the Intake Plenum will be swapped with a Nismo plenum! Koyorad is in place

making progress, the fuelpump has been swapped with a Bosch 044 type

Good view of the New HKS R type Intercooler, its big!

there are holes in the bumperbrace were N1 holes used to be, so i might make them in my S1 bumper for a bit extra cooling.

The Hypertune fuelrails finally arrived :)

It will also get a custom made combi oil catch tank based upon a ARC oil catch tank.

Nice 👍

Yeah go for the N1 vents, I love them. Mine hadn't had them but I added them only to look cool

Starting to look good! she did run today! starting on the new map now.

Also went for a Nismo Intake plenum!

New dyno vid and results on 98 octane pump fuel

565,6 HP @ 6871 Rpm's with 1.35 bar boost
624 Nm @ 5808 Rpm's with 1.35 bar boost

but now the good part:
from 5000 to 6500 Rpm's flat 620Nm!
from 6400 to 8000 Rpm's 550+ Hp

Very wide powerband! runs very smooth! good throttle response! i love it! :)

Holy 🤬 your car is shaping up to be a little monster, awesome. I'm betting you're being conservative with the fuel map as well.

A lot of money too

Did 2 20min sessions on the TT Circuit of Assen @ JAF.

The sky handled great! was really able to push it to the limits. sometimes even over the limit lol...

The ECU has been mapped diffrently for the first 3 gears and it works really well!
so in 1st it has a bit less boost then in 2nd and 3rd. 4th is max output.
i can go full throttle early on, in some cases even just before the apex and exit the corner without wheelspin or major oversteer! especially from 1st to 2nd it feels like it pulls just as hard in 2nd as it does in 1st. car runs great now! very smooth and quick throttle response!

the only problem i experienced was that the brake fluid got too hot. that will be fixed soon:tup:

here some action pics :) pretty much raped every car that was out there. not bad for a car with a full interiour on street tires :D

for now i think i will upgrade the brakes by swapping the hoses, fluid and maybe install a brake stopper for some extra feel in the pedal.

the brakes itself are already upgraded a bit, it got bigger Stoptech discs from a 350Z, and Ferodo DS2500 brake pads in the stock Brembo Calipers.

it brakes fine, but the fluid got too hot. its probably pretty old aswell.

You are lucky that you can drive such nice car on the street. A friend of mine has a black R33 V-spec, and it's nearly impossible to get it street legal in Spain, so at the moment we just take it somtimes for a spin on the local racetrack here.

Oh sorry I didn't see the brake reply until just now lol. Well sounds like the hardware is perfectly capable. I completely recommend Castrol SRF fluid. It's expensive as hell but it's the best racing fluid you can get, It has a really high wet boiling point and can take abuse like nothing else without needing re bled.

Been a while!

i've been to a trackday again but after swapping the brake fluid etc i can confirm it are the brakes itself that arent up to it. went off track again with 160kmh. that was pretty scary with no brakes!
damage? just the paint so it will need a respray somewere in the future. but first.....brakes!

after looking trough all the avaible options i decided to do it a bit diffrent:)
Lets get some good custom brakes! to be exact its going to be the biggest set of brakes under a dutch road legal R33 skyline.

i wanted a set of AP Racing brakes.
their "normal" big brake set designed for 17 inch wheels has 348x32mm discs and cp5555 6 piston calipers. not bad, but after hearing some reviews i thought meh maybe i need something more extreme. its a heavy car afterall and has almost double the hp of a stock gtr.

an R34 GTR Big brake kit perhaps? designed for 18 inch wheels it already uses 356x32mm brake discs and the same cp5555 calipers. nice! but it wouldnt be a direct fit to my R33. it needs a small bit of custom work.

but if we go custom anyway, who not get something even better? i decided to go all out and get some AP Racing 378x36mm discs with J slots/hooks and matching Pro 5000+ Race Calipers able to fit 25mm thick performance friction pads! but since my R33 is fitted with 18 inch wheels the brackets etc need to be custom made for my car otherwise it just wont fit in my wheels! Pro Imports Time Attack R33 GTR has the same brake set up. they had them custom fitted to 18 inch TE37's, so they should be able to get them fitted in 18 inch gtc's aswell.

On this pic you see Pro Imports Time attack car with the same brakes fitted. massive calipers!

DSC01330.jpg

Cant wait to try them out!!

oh btw, some pics @ Zandvoort!
