Race gap/split times for all drivers (HUD), will it ever be implemented?

And there is already a space for that in the absolutely unused Driver List menu on the right side of the screen.

It can show both gaps as well as moment when some driver pits-in and going out of pits (already shown in Live Race view for instance).

It would dramatically increase the level of information and allow for some serious planning and tactical decisions.

Also, the cluttering can be easily avoided by adding the HUD elements removal option during race (please vote )

Oh, yes! More gauges, more info, better racing!
As suggested in the thread linked above, you can have a default HUD and let us customize it by turning off and on different features. In the Performance Analyzer we have this ability, and they have added the feature to turn off HUD elements already. Why not give us more control?

Having a display of the time to car in front and back is vital to control the driving behavior - help to choose the strategies between a more aggressive or less aggressive (more calm) driving.

This is a must have feature!!!

It would be handy to know drivers during championships if you have an off race and depend on points, but single races I agree.

I was running a race last night, and had a sector time come up (when I was in a corner). By the time I looked up, it was gone. Why can't that be shown for the rest of the sector somewhere on screen?

Indeed. Sometimes your focusing too much on traffic to worry about this before it fades away.

I'm pretty sure it's already in the game, you can choose when watching a replay from the Live Timing menu by clicking on "GAP". All they'd have to do was give us the same option to view that data while racing, it couldn't be too difficult to do.
