Now this is weird..
I'm about to do voice recording for the race review of Porsche Cup, so I pick up me headphones, turn them on and make everything ready. So far, so good. Then, I notice they're making scratchy noices. I try turning them off and back on again to see if that helped.
It didn't.
In fact, I'm pretty sure it made it worse.
The scratching noises were gone(-ish).
In their place, however, was a woman who sounded like she was either on the phone or leading a monologue.
Not sure if possibly interrupting a phone call with my (to them) nonsense about Porsches is such a good idea..
Edit:
I've figured out the mystery.
My brother is playing Black Ops online with a friend from Australia (now that's ironic!), and it turns out somehow my mic (which I usually use to connect to my PS3.. but that's not even the one he's playing on!) figured it'd rather join in on that than just be my private speak-to, even though this mic and that PS3 has never even met each other
