The base of lotus carlton , omega 3000 ( name in france , germany...)

You're all 50% right but it is the body from GM (chevy/opel/vauxhall/holden(yes holden used the car too))
Lotus took the car and changed it (around 1990).
This is the engine. DROOOOOLLLLLL
also parts from chevy corvette and holden are used.

Wow , I always thought AMG was part of Mercedes from the begining , just a different division like "M" .
After your post I searched and learned :D thank you

Cosworth is independant and is now doing Subaru parts...
Cosworth was independant, Split in divisions, then bought by ford, and then got independant again. That's the complete story.
Check it out on their own page (< click it ;))
But what i meant was, The sierra cosworth and the escort cosworth are actually build by two partners.
Just like the german Mercedes 190E 2.4 16v was called the 190E cosworth in england..??

OOOOOOh, i'm very off topic.

I meant the popular cars, which is what I've been saying all along :P

Right, but you don't get to choose which ones are popular; nor does any self-proclaimed majority. PD's usage data will tell them who's using what cars, and it's likely they'll have been reacting to that already. So you'll get your "popular" cars alright, whether they're the ones you want, or the ones the actual majority want.

The rest need to go away. What of could do is reintroduce some as premiums over the gt7 life span.

No, they just need to wait to be visually upgraded. PD have usage data of the most popular cars in GT5 and now GT6 and yet they decide to keep the Standards? Obviously the marketing aspect is good, due to the car count, (not that anyone actually cares about specific numbers in the usual trite marketing sense, it's the variety that matters; the more cars you have the more chance of variety, of course), but I personally think it's their usage data talking.

There's always some nutter* who is the biggest fan of some obscure car, and then its inclusion in the game is like manna from heaven for that person. Imagine if you could do that for everyone (not just the "popular" people)? What would be the best way of maximising your chances, I wonder?

PD could still convert some of the Standards / Semi-Premiums to full Premium over the lifespan of the next game or two, whether they include Standards or not.

OK thats great now among Premiums,Standards,Semi Premiums,Low polygon Premiums,Upgraded Standards,Standards-Standards,Semi-Standards (Alto) we have ....Semi Upgraded Standards ? or should we call them Almost Upgraded Standards ? or maybe Half way there premiumrised Standards ......... :D :D

It seems like using matte paint on standards (or the effect of lighting) can at least remove the awful reflection map and make it look better when viewed from further away.

I was about to say that in my last post (comparisson of Matte alfa premium to Matte alfa standard)

Matte colors , do look great on standards ,because there is no weird glare
