I run a totally DIFFERENT setup and run 57's if I have a good lap around there...Still need to work on mine though. I'm not completely satisfied with it.

Yea I'm not the fastest at road courses so I believe a skilled driver can get more out of this tune. But at least my times are consistant and under a minute. U need to pm me ur tunes for me to try rockstar.

Want me to try workin on it for ya? You know road courses are my thing lol

Yea see if you can get something that hits 56's lol, i know u probably could. But the thing with the tunes I post is TIRE WEAR. I don't like tunes that are only good for a qualifying lap, I need the race version that holds for every lap and lots of laps. And a transmission setting that will carry a real strong draft without redlining. I know that's a lot to ask Lawrence but that is typically my goal of all my tunes posted here. So my ideal tune would let tires last at least 20 laps here at High Speed Ring. Or if I can find a tune that's faster and holds tires for 30 laps that would be great. I believe my tune that is posted gets about 17 laps in race and 22 solo before completely gone.

Updated the database today and I'd just like to say, that the pictures you used for the Chevy & Ford are absolutely ridiculous.

Hey thanks for adding me!!

For those who don't know. Adrenaline posts only the best tunes he finds out there and he compiles them into a simple to use database. You simply Search the car you want tuned and select the link.

Here is the database:

I haven't had to much time to get around to posting anymore. But I will get back at it soon. And rockstar - I haven't gave your tune a try yet either but I did print it up off that message, thanks.

No problem. I'll be honest with you, I'm pretty curious to see if that setup is a good base line setup and if other people can use it, or if it's just a personal setup, if you know what I mean. Just let me know whenever you get around to it if you like it and it's good for you. Again, it feels a little tight to me, but I haven't gotten around to playing with it since I haven't raced on High Speed ring in a week or so.

41.8s best lap & consistant 42.2s with Racing Softs & 1 second slower with Racing Hards.
892hp 1565kg
Aero: 20/40
Ballast: none
Trans: 249mph with Top Speed reading 254mph top right (gear ratios soon to come)
LSD: 60/60/05

This tune is fast without turning down the trans one click for qualifying & this tune will give you 30+ laps solo & 25+ laps in race. Best I've done is 42 laps in-race while driving in the front pack.

Ride Height: 15/15
Springs: 20/20
Dampers Ext.: 10/10
Dampers Comp.: 10/10
Anti-Roll Bars: 1/1
Camber: 4.0/4.0
Toe Angle: 0.0/0.0

And to note that I typically use these settings on any car that I begin to tune here.

Try the rear toe angle: -0.25

Gets you a few more laps from the back right tyre.

^ I have raced 50+ laps with all kinds of different setups and I have added negative toe a few times. Didn't really notice my tires lasting longer. When I race NASCARs at 502bhp I tend to soften the car just a hair and I add the negative toe mostly to the Front with a hair in the rear.

But to note -

I hear quite often that a hi camber setting such as mine is what saves my tires. I have heard this theory based on road courses as well.

Any chance you might do a tune for Daytona on the Corvette ZR1 '09 and the Z06 '06 both without the RM package? Thanks!

I think I shall, I had that in mind eventually but I'm down to take requests. Just give me some time to post one up as my schedule allows me to

The next thursday a friend of mine and me will race a NASCAR 40 laps race at Indy in a online team competition. Which setup do you recommend for me to use? People is fast and clean and probably tyre were will be an important issue about the strategy.

The endurance setup isn't my favorite right now.It is great but in a heated race the setup gets you into the wall when under draft. The hot lap setup is good for tire wear. It can run any line and loves to bump draft the inside line. And with the hot lap setup you can really put the car where you want it. Which is good for clean racing.

Didn't forget you, I will try your tune tonite and give you some feedback

Hi Kenwilinski,

I was todl my xxDesperado that you are the man i need to speak to about tunign my nascar.

Basically i have a race coming up on 1ndy R0ad Course and its a 40 laps race. I know there are a few tunes for nascars for oval tracks but obviously these wont work for the Road course.

Do you have a setup for this course please? (or anyone else have a setup?)

Please bare in mind that im not an avid tuner so please be gentle lol :)

P.S Its on Racing Hard tyres by the way :(

Cheers
