Alpine A110S '24

Alpine A110S '24 0.81

If you search around for an A110 mod right now, you'll probably find a few base models. But the A110S? The one with the actual aero upgrades? Zero. Ghost town. Nobody has made one.

As far as I know, there’s really only ONE good base A110 floating around YouTube right now. It's a Gran Turismo port (GT7 or GTS, not entirely sure). Honestly, it runs pretty well! But I honestly can't even remember if it has LODs or not because of one major downside: It’s encrypted.

I won't say too much about the "E-word" because I know it’s a sensitive topic around here and I'm not trying to start a forum war lol. But you guys know the drill, it's locked down. You can't peek under the hood, you can't tweak things to your liking, and it's just kind of annoying if you want to personalize your game. Plus, it's still just the standard A110.

So, I decided to bring the A110S to Assetto Corsa.

Just like my GTAm project, I managed to get the model from Assetto Corsa EVO. But this time, it’s got the proper A110S treatment. I’ve added the new, true-to-life front splitter and the small rear wing that gives the "S" its aggressive look, along with a fresh set of new paint colors.

Here’s what’s going on under the hood with this mod:

The Features:
  • The "S" Aero.
  • Next-Gen Dashboard: Fully working, modern-looking dash to keep things immersive.
  • Fully Animated: Full door animations and a brand-new wiper animation that looks super smooth.
  • Top-Tier Lighting: I’m using stereo's ksPPMM_emissive shader for the lights. If you know, you know. It makes the lighting look incredibly crisp and realistic, paired up with a solid CSP config.
  • LODs: Huge thanks to @k_p for an advice
The Specs & Performance:
  • Wheel Blur: Fully implemented, which helps save some triangles and keeps things looking fast when it's rolling.
  • Transparency/WIP: Just being completely upfront with you guys, unlike my Giulia, the physics still WIP, i use kunos physics for placeholder.
Basically, if you’ve been wanting an unlocked, highly-detailed, AC EVO-quality Alpine A110S that you can actually enjoy (and tweak if you want to), this is it.

Amazing mod, thanks a lot!! What a pleasure to get an accurate and beautifully modded modern A110 with higher specs than the Première Édition (the existing mod is very cool as well but the more we have, the cooler it is!).

If you want some free basis to work on, I have an A110R mod (poor exterior physics but I'm pretty sure it can be updated), and a fantasy spec A110 that looks like it would be an Ultime, all decrypted.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the 'S' variant. It really needed a proper representation in the game!
And wow, I am definitely interested in taking a look at those bases! An A110R or an 'Ultime' spec sounds like an incredibly fun project to tackle next. I'd love to see what condition the 3D models are in and see if we can get the physics dialed in properly for them.
Feel free to shoot me a DM with the links whenever you have a chance. Thanks again for the support and for sharing
Bonjour, pour la physique je peux aider !
Avez vous en idée de faire une GT ?

Hey! Thank you so much for offering to help with the physics, I would absolutely love that! Feel free to shoot me a Direct Message (DM) here on the forum so we can chat about it.
Regarding the A110 GT, I currently don't have any plans to make one simply because I can't find a decent 3D model for it anywhere. If a good model ever pops up in the future, maybe!
If kerb weight is 1 109 kg you need to put 1 184 kg in TOTAL MASS car.ini

okay, thank you for the input, i'll update it sooner
Hello dear friend. I installed the updated version, but the tachometer is still malfunctioning. The speedometer works perfectly. Could the reason the tachometer isn't working as we want be due to the CSP version I'm using? 1.79

Hello! Yes, that is almost certainly the issue.
LUA script dashboards (like the one used for the tachometer in this car) rely heavily on newer Custom Shaders Patch features to work correctly. CSP 1.79 is quite old now and doesn't fully support all the LUA functions the car is trying to use.
If you update your CSP to the latest version (v0.2.11 or newer), the tachometer should start working perfectly for you! Let me know if that fixes it.
Own an A110 in real life, so great to get one in AC.
Your work is almost perfect. I have two suggestions:
1. On the Alpine 110, the engine tachometer rises and falls rhythmically in 50-rpm increments. Could you make this work?

2. Is it possible to update the speedometer every 0.2 seconds?

Thank you so much for the kind words!
To answer your questions: Yes, both of those are absolutely possible since the dashboard is running on LUA scripts. I can definitely tweak the tachometer animation to match that 50-rpm rhythm, and adjusting the speedometer refresh rate to 0.2 seconds is an easy fix. I'll add both of these tweaks to my to-do list for the next update. Thanks for the suggestions!
thanks , is there any chance you can do a 100 R or ultime /r 70 ?

Glad you like the mod! As for the A110 R or the Ultime, I can definitely look into it. It really just depends on whether I can find a decent 3D model scattered around the internet to use as a base. If I manage to track a good one down, I might just give it a shot in the future!
Fantastic
please continue don't stop
well done
