Alright, I know exactly what you guys are thinking: "Dude, why are you making ANOTHER Giulia GTAm? We already have a bunch of them."
Hear me out, grab a coffee, and let me tell you a little story about why I went down this rabbit hole.
I love the GTAm, so I went looking for the definitive version for AC. From what I can tell, there are basically three "decent" models floating around the community right now, but they all had things that bugged me:
I managed to get my hands on the Assetto Corsa EVO model of the GTAm. Because it's an official Kunos-style mesh, it shares a lot of DNA with the base Kunos Giulia Quadrifoglio. That gave me a massive lightbulb moment: What if I just combine the incredible AC EVO exterior with the highly optimized Kunos assets and CSP features?
The Main Selling Point: The Interior Screen
If you’ve driven the Kunos Giulia lately, you might have noticed the Team CSP GitHub config gave it this incredibly realistic, factory-looking navigation dashboard display. It feels authentic, not just a generic Android Auto image slapped on a screen. I wanted that for the GTAm. So, I essentially copied and pasted that GitHub config 1:1 into my mod. It looks fantastic.
Here is the rundown of how I set up my version to (hopefully) be the best driving and performing GTAm on your hard drive:

I love the GTAm, so I went looking for the definitive version for AC. From what I can tell, there are basically three "decent" models floating around the community right now, but they all had things that bugged me:
- Opperslang's version: This is a CSR3 port. It looks pretty good, but man, it is bit heavy. It sits at around 616k tris. It has LODs, which is nice, but it completely lacks a cockpit_lr (so the interior is heavy on performance) and has no wheel blur. Plus, the center screen is just a basic navigation map.
- MNBA's version: Huge respect to them because they scratch-made it back in 2023 (when we didn't have a ripped GTAm easily available). It’s lighter at 245k tris, but it has zero LODs, no cockpit_lr, and no wheel blur. Also, the infotainment screen is just a generic-looking Android Auto display. It breaks the immersion for me a bit.
- The "Paid" version: Then there's that one. I'm not gonna drop names, and I haven't bought it (because I’m not paying for mods lol), but let's be real, we all know it’s a GT7 port. Knowing those ports, it’s probably a bloated poly-bomb weighing in the millions. No idea what the screen looks like, but I’m not melting my GPU to find out.

The Specs & Features:
- Polycount: Sits right at the sweet spot of 350k tris LOD A.
- Performance Savers: I borrowed the cockpit_lr from the normal Kunos Giulia. This saves up to 50% of the triangles when looking from the outside. I also fully implemented wheel blur, which saves another 5-10% tris while moving. Smooth frames are a priority here.
- Next-Gen Dash: I completely ditched the old, janky digital_instruments setup. The digital speedometer is now entirely driven by an integrated LUA script for buttery smooth refresh rates (the only old-school digital instruments left are the fuel and water bars).
- Fully Animated: Full door and wiper animations, straight from the Kunos normal Giulia bones.
- Lighting: Complete CSP lighting setup borrowed directly from the Giulia GitHub config.
- Physics: I’m not a physics wizard, so I am running the VRDriving physics (borrowed from Opperslang's mod, huge shoutout and credits to them, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!).
- 8 Official Liveries
- LODs: Huge thanks to @k_p for an advice

As for the dark interior, you're totally right. It's just a material brightness issue on my end. I'll definitely adjust the material values and brighten up the cabin for the next update!
