Personally I hate purple cars for the most part, but the R34 in Midnight Purple Three isn't too bad, and I think the 300ZXs look quite good in it... Whatever. Keep on going with it, anyway Leo!

I provided LGforce with my highspeedsetting (well...) for the Formula GT. Now, has enyone other than me tried to make this car go really fast? And is someone willing to give me their setup, if you beat my speed? I sat for a couple of hours, tweaking like mad, but I never got it passed 230 mph. Infact, my very best was 229.90 mph, and a tip or two would be cool. Or even better, an entire setup.
I know this is the 300 mph thread and that 229 is not 300, but anyway...please?

Note: I searched both other threads and this one for tips, but came up emptyhanded. I saw someone mensioning 250 would be extremely impressive, so I don´t think anyone has really tried this car.

It's a good idea, but actually implementing it would be very difficult - it would be extremely hard to keep track of for one, and people having time to do it would be another problem. The quest for speed shouldn't be rushed, as most people here will tell you (Toronado in particular!). Anyway, there's plenty of unspoken challenges running up there in that leaderboard!

Your right, it would be hard to get a particular car,depending on if it is used and is not available on that day it would make it verry dificult for people to compete in it, but it was just an idea! I just like to go fast and wwant some kind of club for it besides the "300 mile per hour cllub".

I can´t understand how you guys get that speed out of that car! I think i´ve turned blue trying to get passed 350 with it :banghead:

I would sure like to know what I´m doing wrong ! I mean, I´m not a bad tweaker, not at all, but that car beats me and it´s frustrating as :scared:

If I can get the 88C-V over 360, why not the GT-One???

Thats going to be my goal for the next few days/weeks: get the GT-1 and see if I can brek 365ish

I've already replied to your PM Toronado, but I'll congratulate you here too : that really is some impressive speed. The Land Speed Record is finally yours if you can find some way to upload a video, or if I can do the same with the settings. Thanks for sending them in. The only thing is, I haven't got the TS020 new, so it could be a problem testing it out. A video would be preferable for it, after all it is a Record. I can verify the Black Beauty speed though. Well done again.

Remember, a photo showing the speed to two decimal places and the car name is OK for up to 350mph, but if you're over 350, or if you've set an individual record, a video is needed

EDIT - Damn it, I was writing the next update when my laptop overheated... It's winter! How, How can it be too hot for it to keep going for two hours with a fan on?!? Whatever. So still working on that.

EDIT2 - It's just cut out again... Mental. I think I'm going to have to have it checked out, it should not be doing this. So starting again on the leaderboard... Stand by.

EDIT3 - Finally done. There's gotta be some way to automate the ranking updates... :lol:

Hey guys, Just watching 5th gear, just though I'd drop a post in... I haven't had much time to play GT4, though I could actually be doing it now.
Nah... 5th gear's better.

I haven't tried any further on my GT-ONE since my last post about it, Really getting bored of GT4 after playing it so much. Gone back to Warcraft II and The Sims recently, Down the pub with mates after work too, so all's good.

Some time during the Christmas holidays though I shall play GT4 though and try out a few more records.

got really pissed off the other day because for some reason the used black toyota gt1 was for sale and I only had1.6 mil and need 2.9, so I went home and sold a car and got my money and now the can was gone-AGAIN

I've missed the black beauties atleast 4 times in row, since I don't actually like them. oh well, two nissans and 787B ( :drool:

) are nice, but that Toyota GT-One is just hideous. I just can not stand non-symmetric design in cars. ( which is why I don't have pescaloros either.) same thing goes for axis countries aircrafts from WWII.

As far as I know the GT-ONE is perfectly symmetric. :odd:

Flips are impossible in GT4. You always end up on you wheels. Can´t be done with cheats either, as far as I know. I you´re refering to the wheelie, you´re out of place. This thread is all about keeping your wheels on the ground.
