Ok I just got Liberty City Stories and before I can play it tells me to update my psp but I have no idea on how to do that can anyone help? The only way I can connect is by USB. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey man. In the pack which your PSP should have come in, there is a red and white UMD with "Demo Disk" on it. Chuck this in and there is an option to update the firmware on your PSP.

Hope this helps.

I don't have GTA:LCS, but I've heard that it has the firmware update required to play it on that same UMD. Under the UMD symbol you select to play the game, there should be another UMD symbol under it, and that's the update.

Otherwise, you can go to Sony's website, wonder around until you get to the PSP update page, and it'll tell you how to update from there.

.Duck.

Yes, that's the easiest way. Since I (*sigh*) lost the game I can't check that right now.

And yes, there should be an update UMD in the box that your PSP came in. Mine said along the lines of "update the firmware before you do anything else". ;)

Well thanks for the help, but I just went to the playstation site and downloaded it onto my psp, so now I can play. BTW LCS is amazing!! Can't wait to play an online game.

Its on the LCS UMD, thats how I updated mine.

Ok I now have another problem. As we all know the PSP runs through wireless internet. Well, there are two in my area and the security settings for them is WEP and WPA-PSK(TKIP) does this mean I cannot use them if I do not have the keys for them?

Nope, you can't. Unless you ask the people who own those wireless systems for the key.

Well that sucks....Actually my PSP just picked up one without any security settings but the signal strength is so low....

Sometimes when I take my PSP with me I pick up lots of unsecured wireless connections, actually more than secured ones. I can use a unsecured one in my backyard :D.

Haha, I usualy take mine around with me and do the same thing. I used to hang outside my Bathroom window to get a non-security connection. I don't have to now, a wireless network of our own has been set up.

I just love finding unsecured ones G.T, a cople weeks ago I came across one near work. The people were at home when I was connecting to there wireless router, i bet they were thinking.

Wonder why that person with a PSP is standing outside in one spot.

Ha ha fun. Played Liberty Stories online for the first time the other day somehow picked up a connection briefly while in a car. Deathmatch is badass!

I cannot wait to play GTA LCS on my PSP, its going to be fun hunting down my big bro on it by deathmatch.

It was badass although it only lasted around 5 minutes because we we were temporarily stopped in traffic, there were 4 people in the game but you can have up to 6.

One thing I need to find when i play my bro is my adapter for my PSP. Lost my power adapter and well I can only charge my PSP by my PC.

Ouch that sucks.

Hey guys, I got another problem, how do I put transfer videos from my PC to my PSP?

Download this: PSPVideo9

You can convert videos in to .mp4 (it will also rename them so they will play) and transfer them with that program.

PSP Video 9 is good for transfering vids, once you get use to it you do not need to use it to transfer vids anymore. I use another program to convert the vids, also remember to name your files:

M4V1000? A number between 1 and 9 goes in the ?

And if you want a number 10 and above do this file name:

M4V100?? Like I just said now number 10 and above goes where the ??'s are.

Well I found a new program thats even easier to use than PSP Video 9.

...and that would be...? PSPV9 seems to do the job just fine for me, it seems as if it would be difficult to improve upon!

Its called PSP Video express, all I had to do was open the video file in the program and click record, which takes a few moments. Then it asks you if you want it transfered to your psp and thats about it.
