Who says old shots aren't any good? These shots look like you took them yesterday. That's a compliment, by the way.
I really like the blues in #1. The sky looks very realistic. I like the speed, as usual, and, of course, the simplicity created by all the straight lines.
Number 2 is a good pic, in general. I like the blur on the Fuji signs; it's just the right amount of blur. It's pretty approopriate, too, since those signs are pretty far in the background. I love the reflections on the driver's side of the car; you can see the edge of the track and grass clearly, almost mirror clear. It does have a few faults, which is to be expected, at least by you. The car is way to close to the bottom edge of the frame and it looks like it's sitting still.
The 3rd pic blinds me with it's vibrant colors. I'm not a fan of neon-green grass, like the stuff they have in Florida and, I presume, in Japan. I like the deep, money-green stuff we have here in Ohio. You should probably enter this in the comp, everyone else has a scenery shot.
Number 4 is the complete opposite of #2 because it's moving prety quick. I see this is one of your famous Moving Phototravel shots. I capitalized that beccause it's a completely new genre of GT photography. It's so "Need For Speed".
Nice smoke on that Trueno, too.
A few questions:
1) What's the best combo of aperture/shutter speed to use if you plan on doing your depth blur/radial blur thing?
2) Which lasso tool do you use to cut the cars out when you do that depth blur: regular, polygon, or the magnetic one?
3) Where the hell do come up with your little "quote in red" in your sig? They're pretty funny.
