Perfect Balance's Gallery | Lancer Evo GT-A

Thanks everyone, also, bjc, thanks for taking more time to leave somthign better than a "cool pics" even though thats what i usually do.

That second Motul Pitwork 350Z is one of the best pictures to come out of photomode, it's perfectly balanced :sly:! The last three Escort pictures I'm not so sure about, the colours look unnatural, they just don't sit very well with me. Anyway, the composition and angles which are well varied more than make up for a personal preference 👍!

thanks for the tips, they helped alot :D if u have the time come check out my updated gallery.

Um...Tips? I think your taking me for someone else, but I'll stop by your gallery.

Edit: oh, in your gallery you mean.

These are some old shots i found lyling around my computer, so don't expect anything spectacular.

And just as a bonus, i was looking through my old gallery, and stumbled across this shot, so I made it into a moving shot.

And edited:

Sorry, very blurry, but i accidently saved it after blurring, because i was going to do somting else, and i had to get all the layers into one, but i forgot to undo the blur first.

The first Celica looks very 440-ish to me. The 2nd & 3rd are good, if a bit over-contrasted. The Last Celica is very good. It has that movie chase scene feel to it.

I still like the spoiler you put on the Sprinter. And it drifting looks even better.

Who says old shots aren't any good? These shots look like you took them yesterday. That's a compliment, by the way.
I really like the blues in #1. The sky looks very realistic. I like the speed, as usual, and, of course, the simplicity created by all the straight lines.
Number 2 is a good pic, in general. I like the blur on the Fuji signs; it's just the right amount of blur. It's pretty approopriate, too, since those signs are pretty far in the background. I love the reflections on the driver's side of the car; you can see the edge of the track and grass clearly, almost mirror clear. It does have a few faults, which is to be expected, at least by you. The car is way to close to the bottom edge of the frame and it looks like it's sitting still.
The 3rd pic blinds me with it's vibrant colors. I'm not a fan of neon-green grass, like the stuff they have in Florida and, I presume, in Japan. I like the deep, money-green stuff we have here in Ohio. You should probably enter this in the comp, everyone else has a scenery shot.
Number 4 is the complete opposite of #2 because it's moving prety quick. I see this is one of your famous Moving Phototravel shots. I capitalized that beccause it's a completely new genre of GT photography. It's so "Need For Speed".
Nice smoke on that Trueno, too.

A few questions:
1) What's the best combo of aperture/shutter speed to use if you plan on doing your depth blur/radial blur thing?
2) Which lasso tool do you use to cut the cars out when you do that depth blur: regular, polygon, or the magnetic one?
3) Where the hell do come up with your little "quote in red" in your sig? They're pretty funny.

Hey, thanks keef, I love big comments, this probably deserves a rep point, I think it is a VERY high quality post, great grammar, great spelling, good job.

1. For shots that i am usually going to turn into a moving shot, i usually put everything on the highest, because the detail helps to make lines in the pic when you blur it. If the pic is already blurry, when you blur it in PS, the pic become just a big unfocused blob.

2.I use the polygon lasso tool because you dont really have to be careful with that one, because it doesn't make a point until you click, so its very easy to use.

3. Acually, then current one wasn't made up, i saw that on a pic that my friend showed me.

EDIT: Thanks everyone else for the comments too.

This one was kinda cool , because i got an update and 2 comp entries in one photoshoot. I think these are pretty good, but you tell me what you think.

We know how much you love that American muscle, PB.
I like your drifing on a drag strip, there.
That fourth one is brilliant, the burnout from the top. I love it.
The 7th, too.
