Aston Martin build one of the most beautiful cars in the globe. That update is it. The tone is excellent, and I love the first one the most. Just incredible.

Thanks alex. I liked the first one more, but now the second one is growing on me:)

Agreed, beautiful update once again 👍

Oh and, you forgot to blur the wheels in the second picture :D

I did? Just kidding. I did forget, but it's fixed now:)

:D This update is tight! Great pics man. I like the colouring, and finish. The second is my favourite! Keep 'em coming! :dopey:

Thanks mag. I'll see what I can do for another update on the weekend.

nice aston martin update:) so sharp and clean.

Thanks:)

The first shot is just so sexy.

Thanks TVR. Never thought the shots as sexy before, but I guess you're right:)

Nice! cool, soft and a good presentation 👍

Thanks LG:) I don't know if this kind of presentation style will be my thing but it was fun to do.

Woah.. those aston martin shots are near real!! good job!

Thanks ray:)

nice ones.

Thanks jgda.

You have done it again C_F. You have taken this great looking car and did the impossible. Made it look better. I love that style, similar to the suberb SLR shots you did. It is very clean and I love the colour and blur. Love the first one the most, I might have to save it. :) Keep up the fantastic work. 👍

Thanks drift2xs. Feel free to save any of the pictures in my gallery - I have no problem with that:)

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! The Aston Martin set is just BEAUTIFUL!!! I give this one 5 stars, congrats mate for this wonderful update. More, more, bring more soon:)

Thanks NTX. I'll try to get another update done this weekend:D

Wow CF, those Aston Martin shots are very real looking. I really like them. The color tones are great, and they have a perfect amount of light and softness. Excellent work. Do you use gradients to get the backgrounds darker?

Wow, thanks 440. To hear something like that from someone as good as you makes me happy:D

As for the backgrounds I didn't use a gradient on the shots. The first shot used a diffuse bloom (copy layer, gaussian blur to about 10 or so, set that layer to overlay, lower opacity to taste) effect after I did the blur and I used the eraser on the car to bring back the sharpness. I know diffuse bloom may not be the right term, but that's what I call the action I saved;) It makes some shots look very nice but doesn't work on all. I used the same effect in a picture of my cat below. Then just a hue level to get the greyish/blue.

In the second shot I used the same hue level and just cut out the sky and changed the saturation so it still has a bit of a blue look. I believe I may have used a diffuse bloom on the sky as well.
The third shot used a lomo effect and then I did some layer manipulation and levels adjustments to get it looking like that.

Great DB9 update, I love the Blueish grey tint of the shots.

Thanks Loon. The tint seems to work well for me at the test track.

Example of "diffuse bloom" on a real photo:

Hey Cod, nice pussy :P:P
No but that effect looks really neat!

Btw, i've been updating and i've now found a way how to make 10x better shots in Gt4 (thanks to franz) so you might wanna check my next upcoming update.

Bo (the cat) only looks cute. He's a little devil;)

Here's the latest update. I'm really happy with these shots and in my opinion they are probably the cleanest and most realistic I've done in a while.

Sorry about the presentation. I wasn't thinking much about that when I was doing it:)

Enjoy and leave a comment:D

lol. is that cat like the ones that just randomly scratch and bite you ? hahaha.
i love this latest update. they're so clean and sharp. and yes, they do look realistic. very well done !!

Those TT photos are really nice, they're quite simple looking but that style works well with the car. 👍

The 2nd photo is very impressive, i gotta agree with that.
I did a bit of editing on it, I hope you don't mind! Just messed about to see what it would look like with a really 'soft' look:

I think the balance between metallic look and soft look is perfect!! I'm agree too, the results are very reallistic. Is I said a lot of times, I love the way you manage the lighting. Beautiful work C_F!!

The 3rd TT shot is fantastic once more Cod! I really like the body roll the car has, and it's so nice and clean, and the color and lighting and everything are all in perfect harmony and it just looks grand!👍

I came back for another look, my eyes, they melt. Those are some supremely good looking shots you have created C_F. 👍

I like what you did with C_F's shot Mog. :)

Shame on you!

Just kidding :D

You should lower the opacity of the soft focus on the background a little bit, I nearly had to put up sunglasses when I took a look at it 👍

No, he doesn't randomly do it. He plans it out;) He's actuallly a good cat, just a bit of a freak... which is natural for most cats I guess...

Thanks for the comments on the update. I'm really happy with these shots and they cleaned up soooo easily.

Thanks Mog. I don't try to do anything complicated with my shots. I find that most of the time less is more;)

im so in love with that second shot!

Thanks D_P. The second shot is my favorite as well. It pretty much made itself. Clean up was easy. Just did a blur and a hue level.

Agreed, Cod, your skills have gone high up lately, keep that up! 👍

Thanks Ultra:)

I like the clean lines of the first shot.

Thanks TVR&FF. I was going to leave some colour in that one but decided to give a more metallic look which suits the lines of the picture.

Eye meltingly good shots C_F. :D Very clean and like you said, very realistic. Awesome colour's. I love your style. 👍

Thank drift, and thanks again:D

I had messed around with that shot a bit more as well giving a soft blur like yours but decided a sharper image was best. Still, your interpretation looks good:)

Thanks alex:) Lighting is important in all my shots and I try to start that right from the start in the raw images from the game. Sometimes I can get the right lighting even when a "bad" shot from the game but it's a lot easier when the shot looks nice without an editing to start.

You put quite a nice effect to it. It certainly does look soft. 👍

Thanks GT4_Rule:)

Audi TT update looks good.

Thanks LG. Hope you like the next one as well. Similar feel.

The 3rd TT shot is fantastic once more Cod! I really like the body roll the car has, and it's so nice and clean, and the color and lighting and everything are all in perfect harmony and it just looks grand!👍

Thanks 440:D

The next update is the Audi TT part II. I like the first shot the most out of these three due to the asphalt having a rolling/liquid feel to it. I cleaned the car up best I could but the line of the hood where it meets the windshield just kept getting away from me.

The second shot actually has colour as you can see;) I did a cheapy blur on the track and tried to create some depth to the shot. I don't believe I succeeded at it too well though:(

The third shot uses an in-game blur. The only thing I did was clean up the car textures, adjust the levels and added a hue level.

Haha, these shots are excessive perfect to be real. I think the first set has a little bit more reallistic look, but this last one is impressive as well.

The critic line of the hood in first one is good defined imo, rather than last one for example. To be honest, the surfaces of first TT perform really well. With the hard lighting, the shot losses the reallistic feeling, but I love that style.

The cheap blur of second... yes, even the "bad" texturing of the trees have came up with this effect. The reflections surely wasn't the best base to edit, btw. About last one, the ultrasoft surface is nice 👍

Salu2.alexwrc

I´ve seen both of your Audi TT sets, and they look fantastic, with great quality and details. The car is very nice on pics, and the reflections are very good. Good use of the contrast, the colors are nice on all shots. Incredible work mate, just keep doing more!! BTW Happy Holidays:)

very nice again. it's crazy real. i can't believe it's from gt4, i love the movement of the 2nd and 3rd pic. they're just amazing! even the lighting is perfect.

Wow, nice effect in the second shot. The fact that the car moves but not the background is rather impressive, I thought it would freaky but again you've showed us a very nice result 👍

Another eye melting update from you C_F. These shot are very, very nice. I love what you do with your shots, make them look very realistic and have great lighting and colour. Saving them. :D

Look forward to your next amazing update. 👍

Thanks for the comments guys. I said "cheapy" blur on the second shot as it's just a straight motion blur on the asphalt and a slight lesser motion blur on the barrier. Should have been a curved blur but I don't have the patience for that right now;) I figured the background didn't need to be blurred as the car is going around a turn so the background wouldn't be moving in relation to the camera... might be some faulty logic there;)

Ultra, I feel honoured that you have me in your signature listed in the best galleries:D Thanks.

Just a Tourist Trophy update today. I felt like playing it last night for a change over GT4.
