These parts in the third shot do not make the car look real at all:

*Lights on the bumper and the headlights
*Grill and the curve not being smooth leading up to the grill
*Rims

i like the last one. great work.

Thanks:)

I prefer the first shot more, but the second shot is also nice.

Thanks TVR. I like the first shot most as well. It's a little different than what I've been doing recently and I like the softness and subtle realism (if you sit back from the monitor and squint a little ;))

Wow, every update of yours I love C_F.
This update is suberb, I love all the shots, makes me wnat to take some photos of that beast.
The second one is my fav, the contrast of the car with the reflections, white stripes and rims looks sweet.
Fantastic update, more of your work that will be saved to my drive. :D

Thanks Drift. I like the look of the GT but I don't like driving it that much in the game;) It's a strange car to me and only looks good from certain angles. I can't quite put my finger on why I feel that way about it.

That's different I think. Did you try some "soft focus"? Also seems like you were added a subtle monochrome noise. I love the second shot, because how complex are all reflections. The lighting is great as always, but I personally preffer you High Definition stuff rather this little diffussed one :D

Just something a little different this time around;) Once I had taken the first shot I knew it needed a softness to it. The raw image is soft to start, but I added to it. It's actually a B&W technique I've used before but without a B&W overlay. If you go to the first post in my gallery and click on the 1st link it shows the technique when the overlay is used.

Hopefully my next update won't disappoint as I used a minimal of photoshop in it. I'll post it up tomorrow sometime.

the second pic is very nice, the last one is good too. but, it seems as if some of the pre-speed blur "noise" effected the car too.

Thanks empty. I didn't do a great job cutting the car out near the rear so the blur created some issues.

Thats the best Ford GT photos that I ever seen!!!! WOW...the blur is freakin incredible...U are a master of blur!!! The reflections on the 1st one are so good, looks very real C_F.
Another 5 stars update, just continue to amaze us:)

Thanks MTX, but I don't know if bestowing me with best GT picture and blur master is appropriate;) I'll take it of course:D

Wow these shots are really good I espcially like the 1st shot it looks almost real. I also like the third shot as that looks realistic as well. Not to keen on the 2nd but thats my opinion. good work keep it up:)

Thanks speedster. I find el capitan is good for getting somewhat realistic pictures... with certain cars that is. The track has some good lighting:)

nice pics again Cod. 👍...im taking some pics @ El capitan too, great light there.

Thanks LG. Looking forward to your update:)

*drooling over the 2nd picture*
Suavveeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks Fallen:D Don't get your keyboard wet;)

3rd ford gt looks awesome 👍

Thanks jmx:)

The last shot looks very real
Awesome man 👍

Thanks franz:)

I'm thinking the 3rd shot must be the best one out of this set based on the comments:D

I'm going to be putting my next update up tomorrow. It's something quite different for me as the only editing done in photoshop were to remove the trademark and brightness/contrast. A couple were cropped as well, but overall it was minimal editing. I like all the shots (nine in total) and I'm looking forward to feedback on them once they're up;)

Thanks for the comments guys. I was happy with most of the 'cuda pics. I had to run them by my wife as that is her dream car;)

Anyway, single picture update tonight. My "weekend racer" Aston Martin DB9 at grand valley east.

Let me know what you think.

Great DB9 Picture.
After searching through your gallery I settled on this one because of the color's appearance. Did you have to use photoshop and all that on this one? Great picture... +rep, keep up the submissions.

Very nice update CF, btw, im very happy to be so high on that list as well. I didnt realize that i posted so many comments here.

As I said in my previous post this next update is a bit of a departure from the usual for me. There was no real photoshopping done, just brightness/contrast, watermark removal and cropping in two of the shots. Of course I cheated a bit and used a car that is extremely well modelled in GT4. All the other coloring was direct from GT4. I hope you enjoy.

Simple...but quite good!!! Simple shots can also look great, and thats what I can see here. Great cameras mate, captures very well all the action, and some of them are looking quite real. Nice done C_F:)

Very nice work on that Celica.
The angles are great and the texture of the pictures is perfect for the gritty rally theme. It feels like I could run my finger across the picture and pick up the dirt of a rally race. 👍

Good job, I'm glad to see you don't have to rely on photoshop. ;)

No rep this time though, despite the fact that I would love to give you rep for the celica, I can't do it (too soon since I gave something in your gallery rep).
Not to worry though, I'll have an eye on your gallery just like everyone else's.

Just remember to keep contributing.

Suberb update C_F. I see you have the skills in GT4 as you do in PS. :D
You got some really nice interesting angles, they all look good. 👍
Why is that car modelled so well? Maybe it was a favourite at PD.
Looking forward to your next update as always.

It's proven the Rally Celica is a very photogenic subject
Taken in a pale tone track like Cathedral Rocks or Citi d Aria makes it even better 👍

Thanks guys, glad you liked the shots. I tried editing a couple but didn't get very far. I believe the shots look best as is.

Next update is from Tourist Trophy (just in case you didn't know since there's a bike in the picture;)) I have a full colour shot but decided to make it B&W (which means blue and white in this case;) instead.

Edit: I decided to throw up the full colour shot as well. I like both equally:)

Thanks alex. I wish they had put the 16x9 feature in GT4. It was a nice addition to TT's photomode.

For those who have TT and don't know, you can push R1, R2, L1 and L2 at the same time and get a widescreen shot in TT's photomode. It doesn't work that well for vertical pictures but gives regular shots that little extra.

Ahm! I haven't noticed that thing. That's great to keep the original resolution, and don't crop anything. Thanks for the tip mate!

Salu2.alexwrc

Thanks guys. The 16x9 is a sweet feature.

Streetz, I would recommend renting TT first before buying. It's not for everyone and I find now it does lose it's replay factor a bit since the game is much smaller than GT4.

Really? I never knew that! Might have to give it a shot later on.

Love the photo by the way, it looks very soft and smooth all over, with a hard edge to it that gives the bike a certain amount of agressiveness.

I prefer the full colour shot btw, it's quite desaturated as it is and the hints of colour here and there really add a certain something to it.

Wow, looking at those shots makes me want to play that game. Still haven't had the chance to hire it. It always seems to be out. :(

They both look stunning, but I'm with Mog. I like the colour one a little more.
Awesome work as always, looking forward to your next update. 👍

Thanks guys:) Now that I look at both I prefer the colour one as well. Seems to have a higher realism factor.

This next single shot update is filler between now and the next larger update. I've been working on some BMW GTR (I believe that's what the car is called anyway) shots over the last couple of nights and trying to fine tune them before putting them up here. In the meantime enjoy this Dodge Charger Superbee speeding through the night;)
