Very nice SuperBee. I'm gonna be exigent... some edges are not very fluid :lol: I'm just kidding, it looks good. One more time playing with the lighting!

Salu2.alexwrc

very cool shot in my opinion, its different, and cool.

Wow C_F, I always love your updates. This one is no exception. Great angle and colours, love the sense of speed in the image too. Suburb work as always, look forward to your next update. 👍

That superbee makes me speakless... Great job

please visit my gallery if you get the time and comment

Thanks man...... you just made my eyes bleed.... :) Your gallery rocks!!!! Nice mix, clean pics and a lot of speed (I love speed pics). Your work on the M3, GT40, SLR Merc, 190 EVO Merc and the Audi Le Mans thing is realy awesome!! as most of your updates. Now I realy look forward to see what you can do to the M3 GTR. Keep up the nice work man!! 👍

nice looking update on the last page. im not much of a tourist trophy person but they look great.

EDIT: didn't see the superbee. The superbee looks great too.

Thanks for all the kind words guys:) I'm in a bit of a rut with GT4 over the last few days. I was happy with my BMW shots until I started doing some post processing. I just can't get them to look the way I want. My limited knowledge of photoshop is coming through there:( That means the BMW update isn't coming at this time. I'll try a new shoot with the car at a different location to see what I can get.

In the meantime here's a Mustang GT shot from El Capitan. I believe I may have overdone this one. I didn't do a whole lot of clean up and my cut out of the car was a bit rough. I really liked the colour of the car in the game but it didn't translate so well outside. I do have a difficult time with red cars and try to stay away from them for that reason;)

Edit: ah, what the heck. Here's one of the BMW shots I had worked on. I REALLY liked this angle from the top of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca.

Sweet colors Cod 👍

As always, very nice job on those pics, I really like the angle you used on the 'Stang there, the wheel blur looks a bit weird however, suppose it must be the rims ;) But lots of artistic feel is in that shot 👍

And the BMW, lots of colors, lots of 👍

Nice work on both cars, red is hard :ouch: but I think it came out well, the blur seems to go faster than the wheels dough..... or is that just me being overcritical ? probably....

The angle on the Beemer and the colour is fantastic, looking forward to your next try on that car, try it on El Capitan, the light there suits that car well.👍

Regards // CB.

Nice Mustang shot like the way it has turned out for you. The wheels look creepy but thats becasue they are creepy. What are you on about with the BMW shot it is amazing! It just is awesome the colours and everything the angle is so good I am going to be going to Laguna Seca more often to get that shot! Brilliant work cannot wait for the next batch. If you have time have a look at my gallery...if you can.

i love both shots man, and i know what you mean about red cars. I can never get them to look very good either...im bot too sure why.

The tone of Mustang is Superb. The definition is also great, it doesn't seem from GT4. This remember the E class I've just modded yesterday... wich is from GT4 or less :yuck:. The question should be how many time didi you spend cleaning and modifying the tone :):)

The GTR is great. I don't remember many shots like this from you, and it looks also very good. I think the Laguna is an excellent choice to fit the car into the ALMS ambient 👍

They are all very beautiful including the TT shot
the superbee looks real good, very interesting to shoot this car at SSR5

Wow. This update was very well done. The Mustang is great. The car itself is alittle rough in spots, but I found that while photographing the car myself. The blur is awesome, as is the vignetting/spotlight effect. As for the corkscrew shot; that is so unique. Perfect car selection, the angle is exceptional, and the warm tone is well suited. The rumble strips add the perfect amount of track color and the rubber marks on the corkscrew entrance just enhance the photo and elevate it to a higer level. Well done my friend 👍

I love the Mustang shot, but you got a good amount of colours in that shot.

Thanks Ultra. I was using the 440 method of taking a picture focused on the wheels at a lower shutter speed, but they just didn't come out looking right. The wheels are actually at 1/60th but for some reason didn't look to be spinning that much.

Thanks:) As I said to Ultra, the wheels were taken at the lowest shutter speed but still came out looking funky. Perhaps I should have lowered the blur on the background a bit to bring them more in line with the perceived speed of the car.

Thanks Speedster. I was really happy with the angle of the BMW shot. When driving the actual drop doesn't seem as much as it actually is. I also think there's a sheep or something in the field;)

i love both shots man, and i know what you mean about red cars. I can never get them to look very good either...im bot too sure why.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about red cars but I rarely have luck with them. Last time I did a red car it was way back in my gallery and was also a mustang (SVT Cobra). I was lucky with that one:)

Hey Alex, thanks. I actually used a lomography effect on the mustang shot and then desaturated the background. The car itself stayed red through the progess but was very bright so I had to lower the saturation on it as well. Then I used a very light gradient overlay set to soft light.

They are all very beautiful including the TT shot

Thanks Franz:) I believe we need a new TT update from you;) It's been a few months since we've seen something:D

Thanks Streetz. Wow, I didn't think the BMW shot would go over that well, but I guess what you say is true about the shot:D

I love the Mustang shot, but you got a
good amount of colours in that shot.

Thanks TVR:)

Loving your latest work Cod...The Stang is amazing 👍

Thanks LGforce:)

Hope you guys don't mind if I also put another Tourist Trophy update here. I like the way these shots came out, especially the black and white one. I only did a fake blur on one shot. The panorama is all in game.

I liked the wide shot simply because the bike seems so small int he shot (Which is it) and appears to be going a lot faster than it's stock 98 mph top speed;)

The second shot has a post card feel to it to me. I increased the saturation (not something I normally do;)) and added some noise. While the bike is a 2005 the picture has a more old time feel making the bike look older than it is.

The third shot... well, I'm really happy with it. I used an infra-red effect and some miscellaneous "messing around" and came up with that. I feel it almost needs some kind of quote in it. The whole effect of the rider heading over the crest of the hill to whatever awaits would almost make a good poster;):D

The last shot is just a simple blur but I like how the bike came out looking fairly clean and detailed.

Does the lomography the duplicate layer-blur effect? The photo losses some definition but the soft glow looks very good. I've noticed we use different techniques for editting so I'm glad to see your method and learn more while enjoying your work. Btw I like the soft saturation of Mustang, because gives a "film" feeling, like Top Gear, even an "adjusted reality" in your own style. I'm quite confused sometimes because the soft saturation/sepia tone can transform a shot into another more reallistic, but at the same time I see a very saturated pics from GT4 with amazing results in terms of reality.

About this last TT batch, I have to say I also like them very much. The wide version works very elegant and the noise creates a nice semi-old effect.

those are some very cool and unique shots you got there, C_F!

Lovin the beemer (nice sense of depth) and the one to last motor, very nice effect.

Definately like the old school motorcycles. I have to go with the second shot, really like the angle and grain. Well done again 👍

Amazing updates as usually.

I really like the style of the Mustang, the colour and tone look very cool. Also the BMW shot is suburb, if the whole update looks that good then there will be a lot  going around.

This TT update is so sweet, I love every shot. Love the look of the old school bike and the old style you gave the shots. 👍

This is one, if not my favourite gallery. I love your work and style. Keep it up and I look forward to your next update. :)

oooooh,,,,I like!

:D Glad you do. I like them as well;) I would put these at the top of my TT shots so far.

Thanks alex. I know what you mean about sepia vs. saturated. Sometimes I add a very light sepia tone and it makes the shot more realistic. Other time it does nothing except make the shot look brown;) I haven't played around with over saturating my shots yet. Perhaps I'll start soon;)

those are some very cool and unique shots you got there, C_F!

Thanks D_P:D

Lovin the beemer (nice sense of depth) and the one to last motor, very nice effect.

Thanks sej. I should probably post the other BMW shots up, even though I'm not 100% happy with the. I'll let you guys be the judge

Wow, thanks drift:D I'll see what I can do in the future to keep you a happy patron;)

So guys I got my new computer today and wow, what a difference from my old one. I timed how long it takes Photoshop CS2 to start on my old computer vs. this new one: 32 seconds old vs. 4 seconds new. Seriously. I can't believe it. The new monitor is crazy (for me anyway). I've gone from a 17" CRT to a 24" widescreen LCD.

Check out the difference in the viewing area:

monitors1sf.jpg

I'm running at 1920x1200 resolution, so it'll be nice to not have to make my GT4 shots smaller so I can see them on the screen. Here's the amount of space on of my 1024px wide shots take up in a browser:

It may take me a few days to get an update done as I'll be trying to move stuff around on my desk so I can use everything. Right now that's three computers (the new one, my old one and my workplace computer). I'm going to be hooking up my PS2 to the monitor as well, so optimizing my work space will be first and foremost on the list.

wow. that gtr looks so real ! very nice angles too, and they're clean. awesome work C_F! congrats on the new pc.

Woaaah. That's a very cool toy mate! :D

PS. The PC I meant. The GTR also haha.

PS2. Yes, the M3 looks very clean as usual. No objection about the tone :D

PS3. Change the tittle of the topic lol

Salu2.alexwrc

That's sweet with 24inch LCD 👍 For me 20inch widescreen is huge already, still have troble getting used to. I guess 24inch will give me a headache  I have just checked out your TT gallery, those shots are excellent in every way. I bet you already addicted to widescreen photomode pictures like I do :D

Cool shots, pretty standard, but still nice. And my dad just bought a new dell laptop with a 17" screen and his current desktop is the same exact size and model as that crt that you have. So i understand your feeling of upgrade.

Oh man, that setup is pure sex. I think I'm going to go out later today and buy one for myself. You may take that as a joke but I can't wait after seeing something awesome . Those GTR shots are extremely realistic as well.
