Hi Steven (bigracer) told me this was starting up at last and i was wondering if i still had my team on the list, Team BullShift?? Audi A4??? cheer.

I was told that your team wasn't participating, so apparently I was given false information and took your team off the team list.

If you're up to it, I'll be glad add you guys back to the list.
 
Well i kinda gave up and had forgot all about it. Time has moved on and now i am a team member down but im working on ;)

So...we have to keep the car on the track at all times basically like a 19 lap license test. So even if you're running your line and the AI pushes you into the grass or you take one corner just a little to hard and slide right next to the rumble laps the entire race doesn't count?

You can still compete, but you won't be in the running for the team championship, but you still have a chance to win the manufacturer title for Audi and to win the driver championship.

When you say it, it sounds hard, but when you go out and do it, it's pretty easy. But if you do have a little oops on track, the lap you were running doesn't count, not the race, plus it's your responsibility to ask yourself, "Did I do lap xx cleanly?".

I'm not gonna be asswipe and force you guys to give me replays so I can judge every little thing you guys do, but I do have trust in you guys to make good judgement calls.

Iv now done both the qualifier and 19 lap race :D, is it ok if the Ai hit you and i did have forced pit entry on but no forced pits. Oh and and tips on getting these things off the line, i can't never do it right grr. lol

This time - at Apricot Hill I mean - there is no use to cut the corners.There are sandpits everywhere so you can easily leave a whole second only in one corner if you fail.This is a tricky track.I like the up and down section very much.It is very important to hit the brakes in the right moment,just like in Suzuka.👍
About the race: I did it with A.I. +10.So there are no unexpected things from them.Let me tell you that I met a really horrible tyre wear.I don't remember any car eating the fronts so fast.When I raced in the LMS Season 1 in division GT2 with the RX-8 I thought that it couldn't be worst.
But it always can be... :ouch:

Yeah, I'm surely going to change the format of your times when you PM them for the next round, I'll make sure that information that's relevant for me putting the points table together.

Cool 👍 I've already spoken with him about it so all is good :)

I read the rules and have a few questions; it looks like the points are determined by finishing place in the race only? What about the quali lap and fastest in race lap? If those two things are weighted I might change my race stratigy.

Del wants to make a suggestion : that the best lap time should be submitted .. and should be rewarded for ; as ARORA has suggested ... tyre strategy should also have to be submitted .. just my humble opinion :)

I was wondering about that too but I suspect it would sort of wreck the skill of picking the right tyre combo YOU think is best, not the other way around.
 
Well, I only had Saturday to work on this and I became frustrated because my teenager kept interrupting at critical moments in the race :ouch: So I decided to wait until about 2:00am to give it another go, low and behold my other child decided that sleeping is not a good idea and barged in on me :lol:

In any event I finally got it done and my times are submitted 👍
 
I am neutral for the idea of pointing best lap.

Anyway, i sent my time days ago, really courious how the race turned out :sly:
 
I will take all of your suggestions in account, I may do a few changes to the series during this season, and I'll for sure do changes for next season, depending if you guys want to go at it again.

I've recieved times from everyone but waynz, Earth, Aquendwato, fordgt150 and Aremburgkerve.
 
Yeh i have times for the race already, just have 8 hours or so to try and improve them so gonna give it one last try and get my strategy just right!:sly:

Right, my teammate >_< . I want fight in team championship as well! Agh.

I am looking for a driver who can take Aquendwato's seat as he is leaving after 5th race (as he told me via PM)

Running on a Hard/Medium combination yet only having to make one pit entry during the 19 lap race? Impressive.
 
Thanks GT Pro but i did have to suffer one slow lap being a second to a second and a half of my pace 👍. I also set the Ai to+5 and only had to pass them once on lap one which worked a treat ;)

Woo hoo i got the race win but lost out on the Q/lap points, Nice job there GTXDriver. I might have to work on that my self for next time ay 👍 ;)
 
Gah I expected podium :( damit! Gotta work my time also. Congratulations Ren-Tec, driving the same car, on same strategy..and still be almost 20 secs ahead..makes me think I suck.

sucks doesn't it...just makes me realize how much i still suck...need to rethink my strategy
