Important Information:

Click here to view the team tables to make 100% sure what car you'll be driving, as well as who your teammate will be.

PM me your best qualifying & race times in the format shown in the rulebook and by the date shown above.

Most importantly, have fun!

The basics:

1. You can modify your car's top speed to your liking.
2. You can use any tire compound/tire combination for qualifying.
3. You must start the race on the same tire compound/combination you qualified with.
4. You can set the AI up however you wish, as it doesn't matter in this series.
5. There is absolutely NO discussion of race times, qualifying times or best race laps.
6. You do not have to vary your qualifying/race start tire combo from race to race.

I know it's in season schedule in some post, but , honestly, i am too lazy to search for it

The rulebook knows all, and it will tell all. I'm not like that, set the tire wear to strong, and if you're wondering about the penalty, set it to Forced Pit Entry.

1. "You may use any front/rear tire combination for qualifying, as long as start the race with the same tire combination." - That means we have to use same tire combination whole race or what?

2. You should PM all guys that participiate in the series, because a lot of them missed pre-season tests and might miss this race as well...i guess...

RULE : 5.12 - ''You may use any front/rear tire combination for qualifying, as long as start the race with the same tire combination'' ....... which means we can do whatever we like after the 1st pitt stop

RULE : 5.4 - ''You are allowed to run as many laps in qualifying as you wish, make sure you submit your fastest qualifying lap when you are sending your race times'' .......

Just like TS says .. its all in the rules ..

I did my first run , the race went quicker than i thought , may be caused as apricol hill is such a short track

You aren't allowed to discuss qualifying or race times.

Hmm, well there's 2 new members that posted in the sign up thread that would like to participate, but unless if someone dropped out they would be alternates. I could pair you up with one of them in a 2nd Astra entry if you'd like.

Difficulty (between -10 and +10),tyres?
Are we allowed to set the gearing?
These are very useful informations and they can influence the race results easily...
Write them down in Post #1 in a simple form.

Thanks for the clarification on that one TS. I've made notes on both of them for when I race this week.

Yeh i realised afterwards i had mixed up my vowels ....chose this name beause i always used to take this corner too fast but now i have got much better and it's probably my quickest section of the track nowadays!

I PM'd fordgt150 regarding the ride you just vacated, if GT Pro's OK with running with him, your team will still be competitive.

Just submitted my times to TS just now. I had to do it early because I'll be going to Baltimore for a anime convention later on today and I won't be back home until Sunday evening. No idea if there'll be heavy traffic on the highway as I ride the Trailways bus home from Philadelphia that night, so I thought submitting my times now would be a good idea. I would love to race on Apricot Hill more this week since I like that track, but I had arrangments for the trip made a month or two beforehand.

Hey guys, how does "(Damen und)Herren, LASSEN IHRE MASCHINEN!!" sound to you? And in case anyone is wondering, it's "(Ladies and)Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES!" in German (according to how Babel Fish translated the phrase.)

Not to mention tire selection strategy. I was going to go for the RSS-RSS setup for Qualifying until I saw that rule, and that got me to rethink the setup. And during the race, I was doing some driving w/the fronts getting into the red near the end of their stints.

This should be an interesting season.👍

My fronts were done after like 6 laps...I was driving insane. Anyway, i just finished race, 3rd try, confident with my time, going to submit it in a few minutes 👍

I was racing with -2 AI (i thought there's not gonna be trouble overtaking them, no hits, no penalties in sight)..but man...there were '85 rally cars that were going off the track so often, they hit me like 3 times because of that (thank god i recieved no unfair penalty)...but i laughed my ass..when that stupid peugeot spun out at the straight when i 'love tapped' him..that was hilarious...and few laps later i saw something white ahead of me..just to see it's peugeot reversing back on track...crazy!

CAMikaze: heh, i was doing qualifying on RSS too, i have to redone my quick time now...meh

I'm going to redo my time later. I ran +6 but the AI got in the way after my 1st pit and lost a bucket of time.

So tempted to run -2.. just to see some of them Artifical Idiots at work..
