I guess this makes no odds now, my race was run using.

Audi A4 on R2/R3's one stop

Q lap: R2/R3's too 👍
Running on a Hard/Medium combination yet only having to make one pit entry during the 19 lap race? Impressive.
 I'll say! I was thinking a stickier tire setup would make for quicker times, but that plan basically backfired.:grumpy: Anyways my congrats go out to Ren-Tec as well. ;)

Gah I expected podium :( damit!
Same here after seeing how myself and waynz did in the final test session before the start of the season. But then, it was sparsley attended.:O

Gotta work my time also. Congratulations Ren-Tec, driving the same car, on same strategy..and still be almost 20 secs ahead..makes me think I suck.
sucks doesn't it...just makes me realize how much i still suck...need to rethink my strategy
Come to think of it, I kinda sucked as well. :( [attempt at humor]Anyone here know of any German vacuum cleaner companies that can sponsor our cars?:dopey: [/attempt at humor]

Thank you Guys for your kind words but alass i can not prove my time this week as much as it pains me. Forsure i did the time but that is all down to trust. You see the prolem i have is that i made a bad call like my fellow country man lewis Hamilton on sunday. Not that it has anything to do with the race its just i used a data transfer device to put all my data from the ps2 safe onto my ps3. Well i though that was how it was gonna be but no, corrupted it all and i can't use that memory card no more either. But i have sorted out a new card with all the stuff i need now but i can't get the replays back for about 4 races that i needed. The Q lap and race for here and my wrs 117 and 118 :( :( :(

ps sorry this post is so long and thank you all again

Don't worry dude. At first I kinda doubted your time, but I mean, you are WRS Div 1 driver, you have to send replays each week, so you are trust-worthy.

👍

Wow, my qualifying lap was sooooooo poor!!:guilty: I guess my plan to use R1's on the front and R2's on the back for qualifying backfired........ :banghead: All that understeer with those tires just so i could use R3's/R4's for the last 5 laps or so......

He sure is,
I back Mike up for 100%

Have fun with the series guys.

Wow thank you Sjaak, you didn't have to come and say that but you did. I really do appreciate it alot and thank you too Avery GT 👍. Iv kinda dropped myself in it now lol because i said i would post a full replay for the wrs to show i didn't cut the curbs at Sarthe when starting a lap. If i get time i might rerun the laps :)

Cheers Mike

Woo hoo i got the race win but lost out on the Q/lap points, Nice job there GTXDriver. I might have to work on that my self for next time ay 👍 ;)

Well, thank you very much.I did my quali lap on Soft/Soft combination, that's why I lost the race. These tires lasted only 4 laps...so I needed to pit again and use RH/RM combination for the remaining 15 laps...
Anyway, this season won't be a walk in the park for me,as I see.
Congrats,Ren-Tec. 👍
If everyone interested I'll put my quali lap here in a max. file for PAL users.

TS!
So the pole position is 5 points?
Right.That's worth fighting for.
Is it possible to put up the results table in post #1?
It will be easier for everyone...

5 points for qualifying lap is bit too much for my taste  maybe if it was 5-3-1 or 5-3-2-1 or 3 points or 3-1 or 3-2-1 ...but 5 points for best lap is just too much

Del had a much too busy week {RL} .. and didnt even consider running a one stopper and has since been impressed at just how good the TT is running on {light to mid} orange tyres .
For the interest of the exercise ; ill be re-running Apricot on a one stopper .. just to see what could have been .. ?

💡 Better yet, you could do another post that says "Reserved for Results" and edit it later on by putting the results in when the time comes. After that you can write a new post in the topic notifying that the results have been posted.;)

I'll probably put a link to the results post in post #1, as it would take too up too much space with the size of the image I used.

I want to keep it simple, the way you described it is just way too complicated if someone else who wanted to keep tally of the series on their own.

I still find it too much. 3 points...and I'm fine. Less points = tighten driver championship

There is extra points for who does the quickest qualifying lap? Hmmm...

That may not be too fair for those who normally run on Super-hard R1's (E.g., me)...

By the looks of the standings, I fear that the CLK drivers may have a hard time this season.

Maybe, but as tight as the results for the 1st round were, the series is destined to by mighty competitive.

There are more bonus points to be acheived aside from grabbing the pole position, you can get 5 points for having the fastest race lap or you can get another 5 points by being awarded the Minute Man award for beating 2nd place by at least 1 minute.

I don't think the CLK drivers like you and me will struggle too much, I'm really adapting to how the car reacts to my driving style & I'm also adjusting my driving style to suit the car better. When it comes to crunch time in the series, everyone should have a good chance at the title.
