Edit: Anyone be interested if I did a index for this thread? I think it would be quite useful. I don't think there'd be space for an imaged index, but I could do post and/or image links. Thoughts?

Awesome Bmw M1!

This is an 82' 745i - might not look like much but it was stuffed with the M1 engine and limited road versions were made to qualify it to race in the production car series in 1982 - it won that championship.

Gorgeous. The concept of a stripped out, racing 7 series BMW is an appealing one but it would only really work with a E23. I am suddenly filled with a desire to scour the classifieds for older BMWs (again).
