I've just realised something shoman. 2 of my past 5 tunes have been tunes you've put out recently aswell, something completely co-incidental as I hadn't been paying too much attention to the other garages lately. So I propose this as we do have very similar cars that have just been launched:

GME vs Shogun. Tune vs Tune. The 2 cars I mention are:

1. Alfa Romeo Duetto '66 (put in by I-ROC)
2. Toyota Caldina GT-Four (put in by yourself)

We'll pick a neutral circuit and have someone independent test our tunes against the clock and eachother.

Whatcha think?? 💡 And anyone want to volunteer to do the driving??

I'd be keen to do it in a week or so, but may not be home for up to ten days. We could probably rope Camry in as well.

Cool. PF & Camryfan, if you want to do this tune vs tune along the judging of a TC it's fine with me, but include pure speed as a factor too (ie. quicker lap time gets a 5pt. bonus).

Cool..... we will them do there thing, and we do a spot race? or something? or do you want to judge too?

I think the only things WE can do shoey are really drive the cars hard out to get our best lap times at a certain circuit like a Spot Race Challenge, but all other factors need to be left to PF and Camryfan....I'm thinking let them decide the factors on this comparo.

You're going to have an advantage with the Caldina though, you have downforce, but we have the same power so I hope my gearbox and suspension tuning reduces that difference around a lap.

*added bit* You've also got all the weight reduction on me. That means my car gets tested first.

You can't. You're a member of shogun so you're biased. This is a battle of garages so independent tuners can only do it. Other garages can help the judging out (ETZ, MFT, TTL) but the people from the competing garages can't have a hand in it.

Because the tq of the LS v8 is enough spin the tires off the rims. I wanted to go instead of spining. Time Attack isn't all about power, What good is it if you can't put the power down?
