-> I was about to go oogley-oogley about this but...I rather wait for the official statement between PD/Sony and Porsche. :indiff:

Ok, my 2 cents...

This, to me, as pretty as much as a confirmation that Porsche will be in GT5.

It is highly unlikely that a car manufacturer as Porsche would simply use a PSP menu in the display of their new brand car simply because "something must be there".

This is a hint of what's coming in.

I think someone should query Porsche or Sony regarding this image.
No, I think this should simmer in here and elsenet. Besides, if a big announcement is coming, what do you think any response would be to some yahoo on the net? ;)

Thats why I haven't bothered to E-mail them myself ;) But the default stance we must take, is this is a hoax. Until we hear otherwise, that is a fact.

If Kaz said we're going to delay GT5 for at least 6 months because we finally aquired the Porsche licence and have to model all their cars everybody would go bananas and say who needs Porsche?

Now that we are used to the delay, by misstake or intentionally Porsche adds a GT screen and everybody ( including myself ) are hopeful the delay might be caused by the inclusion of Porsche.

If indeed intentionally you have to applaud their cunning marketing technique.
Maybe there is some logic in the madness after all. ;)

We might see Porsche GT5 Ring trailer.. :) during Geneva Motor Show

I'm going there on Saturday and definately going to check the Porsche stand for any GT material. *crosses fingers*
Will supply with the pictures, of course.

Anyone has any guesses of the car in the pic? :)

yes.. / no.. ?? :dopey:

Looks a good bit like a Carrera GT in there to me :)

Seeing that the display is a composite of the track selection screen, a shot of a car running on the highlighted track and a detail map of the highlighted track, seems like a special edition Porsche GT PSP game or demo running in there.

Again, "23 days until the excitement continues," maybe we'll get the demo of what we're seeing then?

*EDIT* Nevermind, the car in the screen is a Ferrari FXX.. from Forza none the less: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3774541&postcount=31

Porsche in GT isn't looking so good now hah...

Since Porsches are in Forza, Turn10 could easily make inteface for them, but in video we saw interface of GT Psp and maybe that also means any collaboration with PD.

But I doubt. Yeah, not looking good.

I means nothing, seriously!

1. GTPSP Menu

And now guess where the Picture at the side of the PSP menu comes from:
Forza Motorsport 3:

And?

Porsche is in Forza Motorsport, isn't it?

@ Coiler - Not you. :p

All this can mean 1 of 3 things.

1. Porsche simply took this image from GTPSP and put it in there car and that there is no connection between the two. PD/SCE will probably ask that they do not do this in the future. Porsche will not be in GT5.
2. Porsche asked PD/SCE if they could use this image for their promotional stuff, PD/SCE said ok. But that is about it. Porsche will still not be in GT5.
3. Porsche and PD/SCE struck a deal. Porsche a PD can now cross market. Porsche will be in GT5.

As much as we would like to see the latter, the two former are the most likely.

This situation more complex now..OOppss..GTPSP interface and Forza Footage combination lol.

This can cost porsche some serious $$$

You think Microsoft or Sony would risk destroying a (potential in Sony's case) relationship with Porsche over something so very trivial, something that over 99% of people will never even notice?
