Ok, I've just deleted a nice chunk of trolljunk and other off topic posts. I'd also like to say that this thread is about funny pictures, not offtopic nonsense. I'll use the following example to demonstrate:

Question: Is member1 justified to post his thoughts?
Answer: No. We aren't interested in what you dont find funny. If a legitmate post is not funny to you, keep it to yourself or dont come to the thread. Telling people that stuff they post in good faith is not funny, is not what this thread is about.

Question: Is member2's response justified?
Answer:No. Its spam and is considered trolling. From hereforth, this type of 'answer' posts will be construed as spam and dealth with as per AUP.

Recap: So if I find stuff to be unfunny, I should just shut up? Yes. Unless its trollspam, then report it.

Recap2: So I can't post unfunny pictures under the banner of a meme? No you cannot.

Recap3: So I can post consistently unfunny pics and not be called out by other members? Abuse the thread and you well be approached by a Mod.

Not trying to be mean, but... Define funny and unfunny. Maybe the site has a policy on fun that I'm unaware of.
 
I've got half a mind that Brad did what he did for no other reason than to shut people like ivoyared up.

Especially considering comedic value is entirely and wholeheartedly subjective to the individual. If it has come to the point where posts are being deleted because a Mod (for example) doesn't find it funny...then, wow.

The site doesn't have a funny policy, but if someone is unable to distinguish between what is generally 'funny' and what is generally 'unfunny' on a consistent basis, this thread is probably not the place to be posting.

There is no right and and wrong, and people shouldn't be scared to post. We aren't going to come down on things that are unfunny and posted in all good faith.:)

Welp, this thread is dead, since it now seems you are the absolute judge of what is and isn't funny. You basically told us to post funny pictures aware that what is funny to some isn't funny to others, and then warned another member to stop posting images because you didn't find them funny.

Thus the contradiction.

I honestly find reaction images far more amusing than, say, Top Gear based Motifakes.
