EB games, Poughkeepsie NY has it IN STOCK now. They said "come on down and get it". Preorders only today gettin copies from that store.

I'll pick it up after work.

I dont get why many people are watching this thread lol its just a bunch of people waiting for their copy of gt4 if i were them i would be getting it/playing it right now but too bad i dont have 20 dollars đź’ˇ
 
i still gotta wait until 6, 6 hours away. i should be studying before i get the game, but my mind keeps drifting off :) . anyways, a little off topic, but i know you can transfer licenses over from gt3 to gt4. Can you transfer all of them and all in golds. thanks.
 
Yeah. These last 2.5 hours at work are going to be so slow. I better not hit traffic!!! Oh wait, North Jersey... Yeah, traffic's a given!!! I WANT MY GAME!!!

I now have a pre-order at another store. Sadly it's two hours away. They're getting the game direct today. (Whatever the hell that means.)

Got two pre-orders in now at TRU and Compu-Smart. Now it's just my local Zellers I'm waiting on.
 
Just called my local EB, they are expecting a shipment in 30 min. I didn't pre order there, so not sure if I'll be able to get a copy, but I have to try!

I just called the EB games here in B'ham Alabama (for the fourth time) and the guy said "we got plenty of them" đź‘Ť
now to sneak out of work for a bit to go get it. shhh.
 
For those in California who are still waiting like me, I just called Gamestop here in Santa Barbara and the guy who answered was cheerful and laughed when I apologized for another GT4 call. He quickly looked up the total number of copies they are receiving this afternoon and said I could still reserve one and pick it up around 6-7PM tonight.

I called my wife who works near there and she is on her way at 12 noon(now) and putting down the $5.00 reservation fee for me. I will have to wait for her to get home at 5:30 and take her car back to pick it up since my new engine still isn't done for my 67 Mini Cooper and I am currently car-less.

So there is still hope for guys out here to find a local GS or EB and get in on the remaining unreserved copies before they are all gone. I thought I was going to have to wait, but luckily I called to check. Apparently most stores have ordered a bunch knowing how popular GT4 would be, so start calling and find one!!!

Late night of racing tonight!!!!! Now all I need is my Mini back on the road and all is well.

Nope. You just get the B and the A licenses in bronze...You need to work for the cars and the gold :sly:
 
if polyphony was smart they would have done that in nebraska where the gas is cheap but i guess they are trying to get to thier main buyers: HOUSEWIVES that dont have jobs or play video games and are driving around and see "Free Gas"

Hate to bring this up, but... can anyone who already has the US version of the game confirm whether they fixed the Lightning bug (the truck is RWD, stupid!) in the US version???
I am contemplating, going to pick up a copy this evening, and just wanted to know for interest's sake...

The gas isn't really that cheap...I saw $1.94/gal....which I guess is sorta cheap, compared to other places.
 
BTW, sent my wife on a mission for GT4... All EB Games in Tallahassee, FL say 7 pm is the magic hour! Gonna get it later today... Oh, I'll be really sleepy at work tomorrow!!
 
I think I have the lamest EB Games on the planet here. None of them even remotely said they'd have today. Of course, I'm in the west of Canada. Tradtional ***** to the East.
