This is an offline racing series intended for a bunch of gentlemen racers to have fun. I'm not familiar with the series, or possible difficulties, or probable successes it has had in the past, but I think everyone (race directors, veteran drivers, rookies, and hot shots alike) need to take a step back and be human about all this. Come on guys. The bottom line is this isn't REAL Super GT, it is for FUN!!! You've not signed big contracts with all sorts of bonuses, you've SPENT money! You've put down $50 on the game, $100 on a wheel, maybe a couple bucks here and there on a cockpit. Each and every one of you has the right to get pissy and stupid, most likely you live in a free country... dude, I'm not your Mom, cry and complain all you want about a game! Remember, Eats isn't doing this because he likes being a doormat for people, let's have some common courtesy here gentlemen (GENTLEMEN!!!!). In the racer's defence, you too need to remember that you are making a big commitment in this series Eats. You will get what you give. You slack off, your racers will slack off. Set a good example, it might not work immediately but the good guys will come around! Do what you want with my advice but it seems strange to me that we're all getting pissy about this. The series will start when it may! I am no by means trying to be holier than thou art but seriously!
(I'd like to reiterate; I have no knowledge of the history of this series. I am merely an impartial observer. I've been racing on PC now for more than a year which has pretty much turned me off of console gaming all together. I have no opinions on any of the members here at GTP in particular, I do however hold in high opinion the site and its members.)
