Does anyone have a list of GT300 class cars in GT5?

There is a sticky thread about what cars are in the game..

But I'm not sure if it specifies what class a race car is.

I've seen a few GT300's, I can't remember many of them but off the top of my head, there's cars like:

Wedsport Celica
Amemiya RX7
Cusco Impreza

I believe the Autobacs Gariya and the Wedsport IS F are also on that list.

Just remembered, there's a MR2 race car that I think is a GT300 car, but not 100% sure:

Superautobacs Apex MR-S '00

Theres quite a few more standard GT300 cars but you have to keep a close eye out for them as they dont come up too often.

Does anyone else think its strange that there are all these GT300 cars in the game and no race for them??? I was also disappointed that Super GT events weren't in a championship series...

Yeah i noticed that too...
The races for them are crap, the Super GT race in Extreme is too easy if you enter it with a GT500 car, im gonna enter it now with a GT 300 car and see how i get on !

Another point, In the Dream Car Championship the Jag just whips everything out of it on the straights which means you have to up the horse power of the GT500 to keep up.... I dont like having to do that, because it changes the way the car was to be intended.

Ya I was thinking the same thing... 6-cyl turbo Skyline vs 4-cyl & rotary turbos... not a good match.

never understood why the amemiya asparadrink rx7 is a gt300 yet the amemiya fd3s rx 7 is not anyone know why as there is hardly any differences between them

The asparadrink is a floor-up race car. Tube chassis, wide body, 20b rotary engine. The only thing thats an RX7 about it, is the 'greenhouse' which SuperGT rules stipulate must be to roadcar specs. Greenhouse basically being the cockpit

The FD3s is just an FD turned into a multi purpose drift car / togue. In race applications the asparadrink will drive circles around it. Thats the (big) difference
