well i would say to dl all of them(i didnt really say that) EXCEPT shout2000 but thats me obviously some people(shannon) think it is good. but i didnt like the first version and i dont like the second one either.
actually i think the 2 cd's sound very simliar but the 2nd dave doesnt really use as much throatiness in his songs. i would have to say that i like the first one better because he does use more of the guttural sounds. but anyway i HIGHLY recommend getting the first cd. i would even say it is totally worth buying instead of downloadinbg
Went to the concert last night. It was 2 hours away so we got home around 2:30am and I went to work at 10:00am. Every band put on a great show besides Stillwell. They opened and pretty much sucked but the rest of the bands rocked the heck out of the place. 2nd loudest concert I have been to in my life. My fiance and I had a great time but pretty beat up from the mosh pits. Here is a picture of one of our tickets.
The Sickness is an all time classic, its the song that got me into disturbed.
I also really like 10 thousand fists and believe, all the "purists" moan that they "sold out" blah blah....but to me they just evolved and pushed there music forward.
I do like the odd numbered albums (The Sickness, Ten Thousand Fists and Asylum) best. They seem to have more adventurous material on them which I find is the band at their best. I find the even numbered ones (Believe, Indestructable) boring. All the songs sound very similar.
