I think the years of driving mechanically precarious cars in my late teens/early twenties has made me extremely touchy whenever that light comes on in the Enduros.

I don't like to forget, so I do it quite often. After all, money is no object if you keep getting tose first-place purses :p

For those that don't know already, wear is accelerated by a factor of 16; since most RL cars recommend oil changes every 3,000 miles, it's ( 3000 / 16 ) or 187.5 miles in GT3

Depends on the car. In cars I can re-purchase I change it every so often. In cars that I love, I change after every time I take it out on the track.

Well....all of the options are "After" this or that. I change my oil, "Before" every race. I have enough to keep track of without having to remember when I last changed my oil. :D

when i raced the 2 hour rome enderance my oil was like solid brown. it was yucko! then i cjanged it and i felt better. nice and bright green again. :)

Yeah, that might be a nice idea. I think the pit idea could be expanded. A pit crew would be nice. It feels sorta silly getting lifted on the ground like a hovervraft.

it would be nice if you had some choice over what tyres they put on during a pit stop - to vary your pit strategy or just if you fancy putting softs on for a few 'quicks'

You actually let your oil turn to a brownish color before you change it? Thats like almost as bas as it can get. If my oil even STARTS to get a dark green I change it. Dang, only time I EVER had brown oil was after a 2 hour endurance.

What i found to be totally inaccurate was that at Laguna Seca the car pits in the actual pit lane, not in a pit box! The pit boxes are most towards the left!

Thats a good point Zero. Also I dont like how your car just all of the sudden "floats" in mid-air. How um.......dumb. :(

I've become extremely attached to my 42 car garage, and as the conscientious owner I try to remember a quick change after i've had any of them out for a spin.

Even in real races they don't change your oil in the pits, cause it takes to long. But you should definately be able to change it in between races of a series, whoever didn't think of that when making the game is just stupid.
