:eek: That is a lot of entries. I might even think about changing to straights with those kind of figures.
 
Haha, I don't mean to discourage anyone from posting a 'curves' shot. If you have confidence in your photo, go for it.

I was bored so counted the entries up till now. It'll be nice if we can touch 100 this week.

i'm kind of thinking of changing my entry.. not sure though. problem is, i dont have much pictures to spare since my ps3 is dead. which brings me to my next question.
should i just repair it again ( and be an environmentally responsible person, if that..) or just scrap it and get a new one? what happens to old broken consoles after you get rid of them?

It's from my edited version of the Eifel Circuit, where i tightened the midfield and narrowed the roads down. i was gonna use it for moglet's track editor comp. i dunno why i didnt. thanks!

Was it YLOD? Then get rid of it, buy a new one and enjoy the feeling of a brand new PS3 :) I tried to repair mine but it broke down again twice... It's not worth it...

I removed the watermark. I didn't edit anything else. Miniature filter, high exposure. It is straight from photomode. with the exception of the missing watermark.

No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

Quick, put it back in, wouldn't want to miss out on the poll for that :)

that's basically what happened. the first time it was the blu ray drive..

Exactly what happened with me. First the blu ray drive in 13 months. Got it repaired, then the YLOD 5 hours into GT5. (2007 60 GB)

Got a new slim one but I'm almost done with gaming so this will be the last console (especially from Sony).
 
FML. yeah i'm thinking of getting the slim one too, but dont really want to. i'd rather save and use that money for more studio equipment. we'll see. i'm thinking waiting until the price goes down for the consoles. bah. whatever. we'll see.

Afaik it´s not possible to repair a YLOD on your own. It will break down again and again, have several friends who made that experience. I got 3 YLODs, 2 of them repaired for free by Sony but my third one is out of warranty time so I had to get the Slim.

What do they cost in US/Canada? Here in Germany I got mine for under 300 bucks (dunno how much that is in $ though...)

Games like Valkyria Chronicles and Red Dead Redemption are too few and far between.

The video game market looks like GT5's UCD right now. Too many equivalents of worthless Skylines, Miatas, NSX's, FTOs, 3000GTs etc. :ouch: :banghead:

But this is best served for a different thread, unless we want to derail the competition thread. :D

yeah no kidding hahaha. need more entries. maybe i'll just go to best buy with a usb stick everytime i need a gt5 photo LOL.
