I've posted mine.... Still fear my time too slow :L

I think it should be opened to two different
classes and locations(90's Michigan, Open
Finland)

I'd like to take part in this. So to get in do I declare my car/livery here? Is it still 90s teams only?

Sorry if these are dumb questions but I'm a bit lost here. Great idea though. 👍

I'm not 100% sure but on page 2, the info is there about the stages and the link to the entry form.

I think it would more sensible to perhaps open another class or 2, rather then fully open it up. Otherwise you're likely to get some classes with very few participants or ones which are clearly dominated by one person due to a lack of competition. I know I haven't and won't be entering, so perhaps my opinion isn't wanted, but just my 2 cents.
It doesn't matter if you're not entering the series as you have quite a good suggestion Drag. Perhaps if everyone votes on which classes they want included then this could be the way to go.

Perhaps if everyone stayed in the one class, but the class changes for each rally?

We're doing 90's for Michigan, so how about we do something like 70's for Finland, Open for Finland and S2000 for Norway? And when Monte Carlo is released on the 28th, we can do Group B there.
Another good suggestion, however I fear this may be a bit too similar to the time trial competition that AOS- is planning.

Yes, you declare your car/livery here. Only for this week it is 90's teams only, for the next week it will probably revert back to the multi-class formula that I originally intended.
I can understand why you're a bit lost here, mainly due to a slight lack of organisation on my behalf.

Alright, cool :)

Here's my info:

GTP username: Ram-Rod
Car class: Pro
Car: Citroen C4 WRC
Team/Livery: Citroen Junior Team

I'm not participating in the current series (the 90s one), but here's my info for future rounds

So, we've done Michigan ... what's next? I vote Finland. If we're taking votes, that is.

Also, I've noticed a lot of repetition in the Norway stages. I know it's not actually in Norway, but it is a snow stage, so perhaps we could consider doing the Buttermilk Descent stage as the final round of Rally Norway? I was going to suggest Smelter for Michigan, but we've already done it ...

Don't mind what we do next, although Finland is a favourite of mine :).

Also, there's simply not enough people to open up every class, however we could open up 2 classes. Perhaps split it into a junior and senior class, having the top 6-8 of this week participating in the senior class vehicles and the rest in the junior. Perhaps an option? Knock out the slowest half of the seniors and fill them with the fastest juniors for the week after? Just an idea, but it could be interesting and it would encourage competition in my opinion, as well as providing multiple vehicle classes.

So, kind of like premiership football?

I'd suggest one change in that case. Rather than shuffle people back and forth this week, treat the Michigan races as the qualifying event. They establish who is in which class. Start moving people about next week based on teir times for the next rally.

Great idea, I'll be implementing that for the next rally (which I'll be posting when I finish the results table). The main question here is; which two classes do we use? I'm thinking either Pro and Open classes or Group B and Pro classes.

The problem with that is that in both cases, the cars are pretty powerful. I can set similar stage times in both the Pro and Group B cars, and probably the Open ones, too, if I used them a lot. No, I'd suggest using the Group B and 80s cars. They're different enough that there will be a clear separation of times between the cars (you can now run single races with Group B and 80s cars in them and if one of the AI chooses a Group B car, you're going to struggle to catch him, even on low difficulty settings), but they're competitive enough within their own classes that people are going to stand a reasonable chance of promotion/demotion with any car they pick.

They were due at 4pm, AEST. Which was three hours and forty minutes ago. TheStig13 says he's in the process of adding the times for Michigan up now.

That's weak as hell . So I have to have my times in by 6am on a Friday , can we not change the times abit so I don't lose a day of practice

You have an entire week to do your racing. Everybody else managed it just fine.

And consider that TheStig13 is still in high school, so 4pm AEST is obviously the earliest time he can hope to do it.

You can still submit them if you want to as I haven't finished with the result spreadsheet yet.

I know I have had the whole week but when u work 12 hour shifts it's hard to find time to play ps3 cos I finish on a Friday morning that's why I was askin what time tonight the times had to be in as I have today off

Round 2 - Finland

For this round onwards we will be using the "Premier League football" style system. ie, where the highest finisher in the lower division moves up to the higher division and vice versa. More information will be provided when the results are posted tomorrow

Stage 1 - Lankamaa - Morning, sun
Stage 2 - Alhojavi - Morning, sun
Stage 3 - Mutanen - Rain
Stage 4 - Isojarvi - Afternoon, sun
Stage 5 - Hanisjarventi - Night

The class for the Premier League this week is Pro.
The class for the Minor League this week is S2000.

The points systems for each class will be the current WRC points system for Premier League and the old WRC points system for Minor League, meaning that a higher placed finisher in Minor League may score more points than a lower placed finisher in Premier League

... We don't find out what class we're in until tomorrow? Great. Now what the hell am I going to do with my Friday night (since I can't leave my college)?

Also, depending on the number of entrants, might I suggest moving two or three people between divisions? You know, to make it a little easier.

i know theres no requirment but how do we know people arent cheating, taking seconds off there times . i have pics for all of my races except one which i forgot to do , didnt remeber about it till is was in the next stage . it was just a suggestion .

Because it's a blind test. I don't know what times you set, and you don't know what times I've set. You can't shave seconds off your time because you don't know how much you'd have to shave of to beat them.
