oh you mean that yellow dot i was chasing for 31 laps? haha, he pulled away from me in the middle portion but when the rain came i was reeling him in slowly

Sorry bout the DNF guys. I usually stick with it till the end. I made the mistake of choosing racing intermediates in the beginning. I knew I was going to be slower than everyone but I was counting on the rain to come on early and make my move then. I think it was lap 7 when I decided that I needed to change to the racing softs. By then a podium finish was way out of the question. Still no excuse to post a DNF. Sorry about that again guys. I promise to finish each race from here on out.

Gatrs, any idea on what the car/class situation is like? I'd like to stay in GT with the Ford but I doubt if its open. Any chance we can have more than two of the same cars? Only because GT seems to be popular and most of the cars (besides the jag =/) are taken.

Yeah I wouldn't mind teaming up with FH if that were possible. But I know the kakarot person called the Ford earlier than we did.

I guess so, if I saw one I'd be struck. But this isn't real life, and it seems to be you need to be beaten.
 
On the lmp side, what the hell am I gonna do about the Audi R8? I've been beaten twice by it, the thing is atleast a second faster everywhere and easy on the tires. I just wonder why is this car not toned down? I wish I had picked it too, now I'm just racing for runner up.

I really love the laid back nature of this series though, so different from the other ultra competitive series on here.

This. I don't like when people get so competitive over things like this, but it is still great competition, I just wish weak penalties were on.
 
^ it defeats the challenge of passing and lapping, as soon as the LMP cars lap you you become a ghost.

The penalty system in most tracks is simply a joke and the ghosting up is plain stupid! Just as if the game was designed exclusively for the morons on SSR7...
 
I don't know if anyone paid attention to the fact, but I want to state it again:

I believe those who have been racing since the beginning SHOULD have priority in racing upon newcomers. I have been at both races, been trying to help things go out right, and yesterday I just could not race. I know I was a bit late, probably I would not even practice before the race, but it does not sound right for me that I have to show up early everyday because I might stay out again.

I hear you had an awesome race, and I feel a bit envious LOL
Next friday the real thing begins. If that's the toll, I will show up two hours before the race!

The thing is, there were people in the room that knew they had to leave before the race that were taking up room, another who couldn't drive his car (obviously no practice) that left, and another who just left near the middle. The point is if they weren't there you could've joined, we need to get rid of people who are going to drive terribly who haven't practiced and who aren't sure if they can finish the race, along with anyone who has connection problems and will leave and come back numerous times to make room for people like you.

What effects did you use for that greenish tint? It looks really nice, and real.
 
Thanks guys :) And I could've done a bit higher aperture. Imma try again later. I couldn't get you Rocko because I think you were in LMP and I didn't feel like getting those yet. They were also a couple of others that I thought were a bit off. The camera also went stupid on me for some reason :grumpy:

I think I got the green tint from Filtering, probly the Miniature feature. Now that you bring it up I'm gonna try to recreate that on other pics in the future. If only I knew how to photo manipulate..

Im not sure it'll work, those LMPs really depend on the downforce generated by the speed. Yesterday my HP mishap made me realize how much of a difference 100 HP can make in downforce. At anything lower than 550 HP the cars will have no grip

Ohh they do grip, like mad! It's ridiculous how they grip! GT1 times with 200 HP less and as easy to drive as a GTE car! It's gonna be some pretty close racing in LMP2!

They do grip like mad. With 700 HP. With 450 theres none of it.

I like the choice of metaphor, but it would take a fast shopping cart to be on par with the M3.

There's plenty my friend, trust me. Plus they are racing cars under the same rules so disadvantage is not an issue.

I'd like it around 550. The power/weight ratio should be a little over for the M3, as the extra weight really hurts cornering compared to the Ferrari and GT.
