Wallbanger's Cafe & Outlaw Motorsports Garage (New Tunes 6/15/12)

I know, mainly I hang out over at Clueless, but you guys seem to tune more FF cars then krenkme, so I was wondering if you have any plans for some of the new Alfa cars found in the OCD?

... I just hope krenkme isn't mad at me for asking you guys :nervous:
I've already posted tunes for a couple of them.👍👍

Oh and welcome to the Café...even if you are a parrot head.:D:lol::cheers:

And I haz dibs on the rest of that lot. :P

Yea, welcome. Just remember to pay the bill, unlike your parrot friend.

And I've just looked at the place…this seems like the way things are at this point:

Harvey old guy- "Weird Car" tuner, tunes for specific PP levels.
ACSR- High PP RWD Specialist
Tris- Performance and online tuner
Me- FF enthusiast
Raver- The more odd of the oddball tuners in us lot

Just an observation…but raVer seems to be the one using odd cars for odd situations, Despy is losing his crown as the king odd guy!

Been doing a lot of cars for shootouts, tuner battles and the CotW. Limits selection a bit as there is only so odd you can get and still remain semi competitive. Think my "Bergmeister" and "Spooky" are my best so far as regards to competitive oddballs.:D

Spec 1 award for oddball = Bergmeister

Spec 2 award for oddball = Spooky

Wait…what about the Alalalalalpine A110? And can you try and test the Sleeper when you have time, I need to see if the style of tuning I've opt for works for you, if so, it'll work for everyone.

Edit:@Mopar, actually, on second thought, don't pay, just walk out the door. It will so tick that old fart Harvey off, no one's paid the bill for quite a while. As for the Alfas, the 147s are probably first on the list as I have a small soft spot for them.

:eek:What's this?
My best customer being stolen by a bunch of Outlaws?
.

.
.
could you pay my tab too? :dopey:

He's just paying us a visit on his way to the zoo.

Eh, I paid some of it after the reviews you wrote for me, but it's still a substantial sum.

Well in that case, barkeep another round :sly:

Oh, I see. Try the prim rib, it's also very good.

Remember to pay though, or the Black Stallion will be taking you for a ride you won't be forgetting soon. :mischievous::lol:

Eh, I prefer the ice cream, being me. :P

And for something more on topic, sometime this week, all the rest of the FFs will be unleashed. Let the wheelspin begin!

Ok, Onboy, time to talk a bit about your other crazy car:

The C4 Bakudan: 450 HP out of a C4!!!

Ok, why did I think this would be a good idea? A french car. 450 hp. FF traction. I was asking for it, I guess.

When you look at this thing, you see a C4. I see a demon. Red wheels and black body, which say "Come in and see the power of devil himself!" And then you would hear a evil laugh. Scary.

The specs speak for themselves. A 2.0 4-cylinder engine stroked to a crazy 450 hp (did I stress that enough?), which is coupled to a improved 6-speed gearbox and a improved suspension. Loeb, meet your C4 on steroids with steroids. And then you want to drive it. Make sure your testament is written by the time you get into the driver's seat before anything else. Then, remember the Calsonic Primera. Why? Because this one is pretty similar.

Except it is even more crazy.

Corners can be done in a (sorta) calm way, but this monster doesn't like pussies. Try to stand up to it and it will respond with the might of a 1000 Veyrons. And this thing is a hell less heavy than a Veyron, so you know it's going to be dangerous. You think that this can be safe because it's a FF car? Think again. This mad car can OVERSTEER in corners. Yes, it can OVERSTEER. I just had to stress that out.

There is quite a lag when you short shift in this car. Apparently, you have to stretch into the redline to make sure that the huge turbo doesn't act like a old 911 Turbo. Another danger of the C4 Bakudan.

This thing is a bonkers French man. And I thought the Alpine "Black Hearse" was dangerous... A insane C4, that will shatter you in millions of pieces... If you don't bow down to it.

Hey Niku keep that last review in mind...I should have "Miss Piggy" ready for release in the next day or two.:D

The Outlaw Motorsports Garage tunes
DMC, DeLorean S2 '04, "Donnybrook"
Okay so here it was March 17th St. Patrick's day and ole Harvey Wallbanger decided it was time to tackle the only Irish car in the garage. Now at first glance your probably thinking oh no its an Irish version of the dreaded "Purple People Eater". I mean come on fairly short wheel base, weight bias placed firmly and heavily to the rear and oh joy, it starts out with 207HP and 222ft-lb of torque after just an oil change as compared to the fully tuned A310s 244HP and 189ft-lbs torque. Granted the stock DeLorean weighs 385kg more but still...Well of course by now you all know the Wallbanger and how given the chance he'll always opt to add as much power as possible and lose any unneeded fat so...into the bay went Paddy and ole Harvey got busy with the cutting torch and wrenches along with a wee bit O'the Irish passed along from one of his Godfathers don-cha know. When finished (with the car Dolt, there was still another 5th of the Irish left) the Wallbanger had managed to add 275HP and trim 217kg off the beast. Looking around he decided a quick drive up Trial Mountain was exactly what was needed in this fine example of the fighting Irish spirit now sporting a set of Sports Soft tires mounted on Shamrock green BBS RE-MG rims. (paint guns malfunctioned or maybe it was the Irish but ole Harvey's attempts at painting the car failed miserably:drool:)
Anyways first lap around Trial Mountain beat the "Purple People Eaters" by over two seconds:embarrassed: amazing what some real power under the bonnet can do! With a bit of fine tuning to the suspension (and a wee drab more O'the Irish) and now singing "Those Irish Eyes" (off key and very badly) at the top of his lungs the Wallbanger set off again this time posting a best lap of 1:33.176! For anyone keeping track of such things at home that's over four and a half seconds faster than the "Purple People Eater". Now is this a wild cannibalistic drive like the Alpine? Surprisingly no as the car exhibits far better grip, well at least until you push it to its limits where as the name implies you'll find yourself in a serious donnybrook with the car where the front wants to understeer slightly while the rear wants to oversteer. Of course as any Irishman will tell you there's nothing like a wee nip and a good donnybrook to get the blood pumping and the lasses all a twitter:crazy: So grab a pint O'the Irish and strap into this "Donnybrook" so every day can be St. Patrick's day!

Note: While an automatic transmission works okay you should see definite improvement from using a manual transmission.

Note 2: For tracks where higher speeds are possible than at Trial Mountain adjust the Final Gear so the indicated top speed in the upper right is approximately 10mph faster than you expect to reach. That being said the car will never have a really high top speed so you'll need to make the most of its cornering abilities.

Enjoy the ride and as Harvey Wallbanger always says...
Drive hard and have fun!:cheers::gtpflag:

Top speed on the DeLorean should be 87mph.

Just to avoid unnecessary risks.

No worries, we disabled the time traveling systems and the flux capacitor in the test phase so old Harvey won't be sent back to the cowboy days.

Sorry guys my internet died last night and I couldn't get "Donnybrook" on share. Should get it on share after work this morning.

Nothing says "St. Patrick's day car" like a car created by a man of Irish blood (and the man behind the GTO), built in Belfast with parts from Lotus! Should be a fun ride, matey.👍:dopey:
