Lol i was right behind this. it was pretty funny, two bailed out i think and two went down side by side.

Finally got my first win in D5 tonight at Road Course Twin Ring Motegi in the Mazda RX-7 Touring car. Very clean racing and fierce competition from cmbeal throughout all 6 laps. I didn't think i was going to get a win.

I think that Gumball hit Veloci so he slowed down to wait for him so Martin passed on the right, I've passed on the left. Surprisingly everything went down well at the corkscrew. Definately got my blood pumping. That and the battle for sixth at Spa with adventuruss.👍

D1 replays are up, detailed results will up by tonight.

Now, I won't be able to race this week, so I need someone to take my job of saving the replays please. :) Any volunteers ? Preferably with access to sugarsync but we can't arrange something if you don't. Thanks in advance.
 
It's great to hear about (and see!) all the great racing last night. However if you experienced anything not-so-great, please remember this:

If you believe that another driver exhibited poor racecraft or is guilty of an OLR Rules violation, please file a complaint by 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific tonight. You must follow the complaint process precisely or your complaint might not be addressed! If you're undecided on whether or not you should file a complaint, please read this. Also keep in mind that a race complaint isn't supposed to be an argument. Here are some good tips on how to make sure things stay civil and respectful. 👍

Thanks for the color commentary, Worst! Were you bangin' gears as usual last night? I was pleasantly surprised to see Veloci back on the grid! Seeing both of you go head-to-head is something I've wanted to see.. I might have to upload the replays and get some popcorn ready later tonight! :)

Veloci's driving is out of this world, I'll need more practice to get closer to him next time I'll race that's for sure.

Hey SNAILS I'm back from vacation and will be back on the grid this weekend. I'll be able to save the replays and upload them this week along with my usual duties. Looking forward to getting back on track and having fun this Sunday.

Thanks for your interest! We would love to have you in the series. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You run the Time Trial. (NOTE: The tires selected for this have more grip than our current tire regulations allow, but please follow the directions exactly anyways).
2. You PM kcheeb with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
3. We assign you to the division that we feel will give you the closest competition.
4. We send you a you a PSN friend request from the corresponding SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That PSN account's lounge is where you will race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

Please note that we often race DLC from three add-on packs:

Racing Car Pack
Course Pack
Twin Ring Motegi Pack

If you don't have these add-on packs, you will need to sit out the races in which they are used.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since iroquois-- wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it. IMPORTANT NOTE: iroquois-- has already won Prize A this season. Therefore, he cannot select Prize A again until next season. This means that everyone who raced in D5 last night gets to suggest a new car and track combo. After each of the suggestions have been submitted (by posting it on the thread), iroquois-- will be allowed to select which suggestion he would like to use his Prize A on. Any driver who posts multiple suggestions will have all of his suggestions VOIDED. Please don't let that happen to you! Please only make one combo suggestion!

The round that received the second most votes was:
ROUND 1 - Nissan STAGEA 260RS AutechVersion '98 @Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since dabneyd gets Prize B, he gets to decide which part of the combo is replaced and what replaces it.

Price C goes to Da_Panda_Bear so he gets any gift car ticket listed here (by posting his selection here on the thread).

Racefan has agreed to let us use Thursdays. With that in mind I figured I would give it a few weeks to see how the turn out is before making it official. Also I do not want to claim multiple nights if that will stop other people from arranging things.

I had already let the SPEC guys know and they are back to doing every week.
