Hmm.....BMW times in for Cape.

Me - 1.18.6xx
JB - 1.18.8xx

The talk of other cars being able to hit low 1.18's over a 2 mile track is worrying.....

Ok so without the stage 3 tuning which is illegal for the BMW I did a 1.18.848, about 2 tenths slower.

Around Nurb where I did more testing with more cars I did a 1.34.690 previously, without the illegal parts I did a 1.35.013, +0.323. But I really nailed that lap and certainly isn't an accurate race representation.

It concerns me quite a bit though Furi that even with the illegal parts on the car it's still a fair way off cars who shall not be named. Thought I'd say this before the test.....

Which is why we have testing and we go round in a circle. If people don't test, we can't get enough data for the cars. If we haven't got enough data, we can't do anything.

9 seasons in you should have tonnes of data.:p

Well how about posting the test data you do have for this season?💡 IE this did this here etc etc etc.👍

Used all previous seasons data.

Mazda was slow last season, got weight reduction.

VW Scirocco was slow in its last season, so got turbo.

Infiniti got ECU, may get more, was never quite fastest. We saw with the Golf, an ECU and a couple other parts can help.

Audi, Golf, race winners and looked fine.

CRZ in its day was too quick on straights, so it has its ECU docked.

Civic was always one of the lightest, and won last season, and was regularly near timesheets.

All that's great so what times did you put down with all of them after tweaking things?:) A quick track like Monza and a slow twisty one like Cape for example.👍

Like I said, I used last seasons data. Mazda had great handling, until tyres went, and at Nurb didn't appear particularly great.

If we already have the data, no need exactly for lots and lots of testing. Its simply adding the occasional part and removing.

All that said, losing my game data has taken a major hit for me, I don't even have most of the cars built up yet :ouch:

Test room opening in a couple minutes. One 90minute session. Setting weather to dry. Test open!

Sorry about the lunge in race 2. The best part of my car is the brakes and I thought I could get it stopped in time which didn't really work.

On another note, the Nissan needs more speed.

Entry info:
GTP: RedDragon

Car: Nissan Skyline 350GT SP

Independent or finding a teammate?

Slight correction. My times were:

VWS: 1:58.4
Mazda: 1:58.4
Ford: 1:58.8
Civic: 1:59.2 (have done 1:59.0 before)

Cars seemed even. The Mazda was 1.59.0 with the stock suspension, so I can get a little more out of it. I know another tenth or two is in the Honda. I never did get a clean lap in the Ford, but it seemed pretty fast too. Those are my top 3 choices as of now.

1'58.8 with the Mazda, and I hereby sign up, independent team name still Laguna Seca Motorsports, hoping to do a full-time campaign this time around, if other people's standards have improved from last season.

Added, entry beginning to fill. Tech sheets will be updated.

Civic's are now full after Smuffys entry, room for 2 CRZ's.

Test was ok today got a good number of laps in, hopefully the car is as good in the other circuits so i can manage a decent championship challenge

Then I'm in a Mazda. Or is that going to get re-specced?

Because then I'd stay in the Civic...

All cars are open to have changes made if required. I'd say the Mazda is safe though, a minor disaster would have to result in changes.

Avalanche Motorsports again?
